Nery Castillo was crazy and that didn't help his career.

He was genuinely crazy. Super talent but a kolopedo as they say in Greece. He made enough money, retired early and now has a famous fish tackle store in Athens.

He is happy now. Throughout his career he was very angry most the time.. he came to Greece at a young age..16 and basically became Greek. Even when you watch his interviews he speaks fluent Greek - even his mannerisms are Greek.. Retired ridiculously early at 29. Now he seems to have found peace. His fishing shop has very good reviews, he enjoys fishing and he is an Olympiacos fanatic - happy to sit with Gate 7 in big games and sing with them like today.

He was right in the middle of this today:

I think he may stay.. I would prefer Michel back but i think Martins will scrape through..

Kiev were better both legs - their team is worth a bit more than ours.. so maybe not enough to sack him.

Ah well, though break. Good luck in the Greek League!
