Interessante.
A equipa vencedora da WUCL ganham no maximo 460k e a finalista 410k, o que não deve chegar a metade do orçamento do Benfica.
Chegar os oitavos de finais pagaria 2 jogadoras de bom nivel.

Bem. Lá se vai a hipotese do Chelsea fazer a dobradinha.
LC masculina e feminina.

The Athletic UK 2020-21 Season Awards

WSL Player of the Season: Fran Kirby (Chelsea)

The Athletic's Katie Whyatt says: "It is difficult, now, to comprehend that Fran Kirby might not have played football at all this season. In November 2019, doctors warned that a heart condition (pericarditis) might put her out of the game, while Bethany England, Chelsea's top scorer in 2019-20 and The Athletic's WSL player of the season this time last year, was in the best form of her career.

"Fast forward to the end of this season, though, and Kirby has been born anew, helped in no small part by a burgeoning partnership with Sam Kerr that has seen them become the deadliest pair in the WSL. She fell short in the Champions League final but a domestic treble is still possible for the country's runaway player of the year."

The shortlist: Vivianne Miedema (Arsenal), Sam Kerr (Chelsea), Sam Mewis (Manchester City)

WSL Young Player of the Season: Ebony Salmon (Bristol City)

The Athletic's Nancy Frostick says: "With six goals in 15 WSL starts, Ebony Salmon was the driving force in Bristol City's attempts to avoid relegation this season. It has been a standout campaign for the 20-year-old striker, who also made her England debut late in the 6-0 win over Northern Ireland at St George's Park in February.

"A clinical finisher with bags of pace, Salmon is one of England's most exciting young stars who will test herself abroad next season after landing a move to NWSL side Racing Louisville when her Bristol City contract came to an end and they were relegated to the FA Women's Championship this month."

The shortlist: Lauren Hemp (Manchester City), Lauren James (Manchester United), Chloe Kelly (Manchester City)

WSL Manager of the Season: Emma Hayes (Chelsea)

The Athletic's Katie Whyatt says: "At the centre of  Chelsea's remarkable success — from the signing of the world-record player in Pernille Harder to the succession of league results that have often risked touching double figures — has been Emma Hayes. Women coaches are commonly pigeonholed into academy roles because of their perceived greater emotional sensitivity but, instead, Hayes' human touch and maternal instinct have reignited many of her Chelsea players."

The shortlist: Casey Stoney (Manchester United), Willie Kirk (Everton)
