Bad result yesterday but fuck it, this year the Premiership is much more important, so don´t feel that dissapointed.  ;)

Go Liverpool!  :bandeiraslb2:

YNWA!

Aye it certainly is.. if I was manager I'd send the reserve team down to Stanford Bridge but rumour is that our owners are desperate from the Champions League money.

Worse news is that Gerrard is injured :( unlikely to play this weekend... likely to play on tuesday for the reason above...

Anyway.. onwards and upwards.. I hope we beat Blackburn and that Benfica batter Academica.. Glorioso SLB!

edit -One more thing I wanted to mention... I noticed in work today that most of my Sportingista colleagues would prefer to see FC P***o win the liga dos campioes, whereas the benfiquistas would prefer to see anyone except porto win! Is that the general opinion everywhere do you think?I can relate more to the "anyone but porto" idea.. because I have the same feeling with the english teams. I'd rather see any other team win than Man Utd/Chelsea... fuck being patriotic..!

Well, that happens because Sporting is Porto's finest whore.

Let me explain.

First of all, Sporting is a very weak club. Being that weak they are not a proper rival for us SLB.

Now comes the hard part for someone with a few inches of a brain to understand. The hate that sportinguistas have for Benfica is far superior to the love that they feel for Sporting. And because in recent years Porto has been the dominant force in portuguese football, they don't have any problems in rooting for Porto. Off course, if it was Benfica in that position, their stance would be "anyone but Benfica".

That's why some of us hardcore Benfica fans call Sporting "Porto B", like your Reserves team.

I cant see Liverpool making it this year.

The departure of Alonso was a massive loss, the team seems to be lost and they´re clearly missing someone to run midfield.

Lucas is average at best and i dont think Aquillani is the answer.

They can try Gerrard there, but he lacks discipline to play in the centre as he tends to follow the ball like a headless chicken.

I think it will be between United or Chelsea.

Add Arsenal on that list, but Chelsea is the strongest this season!

Hello again benfiquistas, i saw the 1st half of your match last weekend and shit you looked good, hopefully a sign of things to come from my portugeese brothers? For ourselves its not looking so good, its only early days and i am ever the optimist but the signs for the season dont look too good. If we can keep our 1st 11 fit then we have a possibility of the title, with Utd clearly missing ronaldo, and hopefully chelsea (although starting well) will fall when several of there players go away for the african nations. If i had to say now though i think our best chance of sucess is in europe.

Talking of which i cant not mention who you appear to have in your group in the europa league, not other than our blueshite neighbours. I will look forward to seeing your meetings.

Bye for now YNWA

Here we go again!

Props to all Liverpool fans, welcome back to our stadium, hope we have a great time playing each other and in the end the best team wins, since the ref's have been dodgy in this season's Europa League.

Cheers

You can search flights to Faro, and then, you can go to Lisbon by train. I will be in Liverpool to the game in 8th April, and I will fly from Faro. I hope to be well received. :drunk:
