I have to say i was very impressed with your team...
Great players, wonderful dynamic...a great coach!

Benfica didn´t respond well in some parts of the game! But that´s normal...since we have a whole new team (last year´s team really, really sucked), a new coach, a new tactic, new methods...so it´s kinda hard to start winning and plaiyng wonderfully in the beggining...

And we got Porto, Napoli, twice and Sporting in the 6 first games!
Very hard!

I would have liked to play in San Paolo in the Group stage, or even ahead in the Uefa Cup...but that stupid draw put two candidates to the Cup against each other!
So we have to live with that!


In our home we will play much better, you´ll see...we will have more games in our legs, more confidence and a warm atmosphere!
It is a damm shame Cardozo can´t play with Suazo...he is a machine!
But i think both teams have equal chances...

PS: By the way...Lavezzi is a fucking great player...reminds me Miccoli a lot!
We love Miccoli in Benfica...great guy...loves Benfica...and an awesome player!

I think that you were lucky indeed. All of your goals resulted of "loosen" balls from rebounds, i think that has to do with luck.

You have a good team , not a super one , but it´s good , with some quality players like Lavezzi , Hamsik , German Denis and I also liked Maggia , he can do the whole right wing... but I think that we are stronger, we didn´t played well yesterdau but in the 2º legg , things will be much different , you will see...

What about Blasi , do you think he deserved to be sent off ?

Não entendo como alguns dizem que o Nápoles tem uma grande equipa ao nivel da champions...não vi nada de especial neles...tirando o Lavezzi + ninguem sabe jogar á bola...se não fosse a desconcentração e a sorte que tiveram nos 3 golos que marcaram, coitadinhos...

E para não falar que estamos a construir uma equipa, algo que não se faz em 1 ou 2 meses...mas muitos que aqui andam esquecem-se disso ou fazem-se de burros.Isto não é o manager, há que dar tempo e se bem me lembro foi o que Quique perguntou quando chegou, "Vamos formar uma equipa mas demora o seu tempo...será que os adeptos tem esse tempo?"....eu tenho mas muitos não...

Quique deixa de ser teimoso e tira o Carlos Martins...aquela posição é do Katsoou do Ruben Amorim

 Esqueci-me de escrever uma coisa: além do mau jogo do Benfica, tivemos um árbitro tendenciosamente caseiro... Blasi devia ter sido expulso sem espinhas na 1ª parte; e o palhaço que tentou arrumar com o Suazo idem... O Lavezzi atirou-se escandalosamente para o chão num lance na 2ª parte, e devia ter visto o amrelo que o afastava da 2ª mão...
Para lá do lance sobre o Sidnei, que é penalty claríssimo... O homem foi agarrado em todo o movimento de abordagem ao lance...
O lance do Suazo aceito que não tenha marcado, mas há falta do italiano, embora não muito forte...

By  the way Napoli yesterday didn't have any luck.....we played great.......actually we deserved more than 1 goal differencial.
And in all honesty i din't see any penalty kicks in your favor...............


Are gonna be 2 long weeks............. i just hope we can arrive at the match in great shape and with our full potential...........

yesterday Napoli played better than Benfica!!...you're a very good team and certainly is a shame that one of the teams can't go further!!

in terms of luck, maybe you're right....maybe you deserve to win with 1 more gol...but i think that you're forgeting a very important detail: blasi should have take 2 yellow cards, so in consequence... the red card!! that situation occur in 1 minute, and certainly the game would have been different!!

another episode happened in the 2nd half when piazenza(i think) "almost kill" suazo!! another red card that wasn't shown!!!

anyway....i hope a 2nd game different, without referee interference and....that Benfica go through!!!

 També, não exagerem... O Nápoles ganhou na época passada em San Paolo ao Milan, Inter e Juventus, e esta época já venceu a Fiorentina e empatou no Olímpico de Roma...
Tudo equipas de Champions... O Nápoles é bom, mas ontem fez muito pouco, e talvez por isso esteja ainda mais desiludido com o fraco desempenho do Benfica...

The referee showed him a yellow 30 seconds earlier.....that's the reason why he was generous.

Visao simplicista do jogo da primeira mão:

1º Golo do Napoles = Ranço... sorte descomunal no ressalto
3º Golo do Napoles = Ranço.... caga descomunal novamente
Blasi devia ter visto 2º amarelo e vermelho
Contini igualmente vermelho


De resto, resultado fantastico para uma segunda mão emocionante. Ja tenho bilhete, aliás ja tinha 1 semana antes do jogo de ontem.....

Sorry...but I can't imagine how a team can complain about their luck when all 3 goals they scored were rebounded balls... And when should have been playing with 10 players since min 30, another sent off forgiven in the second half, and a penalty forgiven over Sidnei...

So...what I have to say: despite Benfica not playing well...All Napoli fans were saying that Benfica players would accuse the atmosphere at Sao Paolo.. I know who did, and it wasn't Benfica players. It was the ref, who clearly favoured your team. 2 sent offs and 1 penalty is just unaceptable. It totally ruins the game's truth.
