Full name: Damian Ezequiel Petcoff Kailer
Nationality: Argentina
Date of birth: 24.05.90 (Age 19)
Height: 1'75m
Weight: 70kg
Position: Midfielder
Foot: naturally right-footed but good use of left-foot

Damian Petcoff is a young central midfielder with enormous potential and future. Damian moved to Spain aged 15 with his family from Buenos Aires, Argentina to Badajoz, Spain. Damian had already made his mark at youth level in his home club, Boca Juniors and, as young as 11, won the World Club Cub for under-12's with Boca. He was also pre-selected for the under-17 international squad for Argentina.

Once settled in Spain, Damien Petcoff started playing for a local club called Flecha Negra in Badajoz, renowned for its ability to nurture talent. It didn't take long for a La Liga side to spot him and he was signed by Betis BP, where he still plays. Damian has played almost every game this season for the Betis B reserves team, is second captain and one of the youngest regulars on the team.

Damian Petcoff is a typical all-round Argentinean midfielder, following the likes of Juan Sebastian Verón and Javier Mascherano – so he possesses excellent technique and vision of play. His ability to get forward also means he is a danger on goal. Strong on the ball, and able to play equally well with both feet makes him a constant threat. His defensive work is also a notable attribute.

With interest from clubs like FC Barcelona, Valencia CF and Villarreal (with his contract due for renewal in June 2011) Damian Petcoff has a lot in store in what surely will be a very successful career.
