No chance for Zenit. They lost important players, are starting a new season and do not have half of Benfica's gameplay... Seems like only weather (~ -10ºC) can help them a bit. Hope it's not enough. A goal away will makel whole difference. BENFICA!!

In Luz Stadium it will be just wonderfull! Ready for that.

Tough game no doubt about it.

Despite Zenit not having played a competitive game for some time now this is their pitch, their stadium and conditions slightly more favourable to them, even though the extreme cold won't help anyone they will certainly be more used to it.

The adaptation training tomorrow will give Jesus some ideas if the pitch will be in conditions for our creative players or if we should rely on the good old crosses to Cardozo to create chances.

We are Benfica and we are in St. Petersburg to win the game.

I really don't know what the best tactic against extreme temperature could be. I hope that as soon as they begin running and warm up they just don't feel it. Don't know if this is true under 0ºC.... If it's hard to breath probably everything is hard... Tomorrow will say.

4ever Red Devil

It would be unfair for this Benfica side to be beaten by the extremely tough conditions we will face in St. Petersburg, and not by an Zenit team that i'm confident we could outplay home and away in normal conditions.
