Are there any speed cameras on the road from Faro to Lisbon? In other words if I drive as fast as I can will I get stopped and fined by the police??

Probably...unless you have a nice ass, a big cleavage and know how to do a duck face...

O povo português é incapaz de ter uma postura de fair play. Eu quero que o Benfica ganhe pelo maior resultado possível ao Newcastle, mas que venham muitos adeptos deles, e que haja respeito entre todos.

How many Benfica fans are coming to Newcastle? I think 5,000 Newcastle fans are travelling to Lisbon.

I have a funny story about the last time I was in Lisbon and why I have a soft spot for Benfica!  :bandeiraslb2:

We were playing Sporting Lisbon and the night before me and my friend got so drunk in Lisbon we couldn't remember the name of our hotel! This was a big problem, for nearly 1 hour and a half the taxi driver drove us from hotel to hotel until we found the one we were staying in. But it wasn't just that, we were very drunk and the taxi driver was a Benfica supporter and he was orchestrating us to chant 'BENFICA! BENFICA! BENFICA!' in the back of the taxi! We also chanted 'If I had the wings of a sparrow, the dirty big arse of a cow, I'd fly over Sporting tomorrow and SHIT on the bastards below!!' We finally found our hotel, thanked the driver and give him a good tip.

The next day (the day of the game) we went over Estadio da Luz and did the full ground tour, you have a very nice stadium! And the girl doing the tour? PHooarrr!  :estrelas:

I don't wanna judge but that's not really smart, especially being in a place for the first time.
And in normal roads, our drivers are less predictable than english ones :)

I can't really say an accurate number. It will all depend on the 1st leg result and most importantly the impact of the name "Newcastle", which I think it will be considerable. Last time we played at Old Trafford there were many "benfiquistas", as in Anfield Road in 2006. But that is Champions League... in Europa League the name of the opponent is even more important. I would say a few thousand, 2.000 or 3.000.

Miccoli goal + some of the fans (Anfield Road, 2006, Champions League)

;D Class.

Hope you can enjoy a good european night of football. At least 40.000 fans, I expect/hope.

Sem qualquer tipo de arrogância, era difícil terem adversário pior para bater este record.

É mais provável um 2-2 do que um 0-0. O Rubin era ideal :D

Just want to know what speed I can realistically travel, in most countries people go faster than the speed limit to a degree, like here if you go 80/85mph you will be fine even though the limit is 70.

I should ok in Portugal, I have a lot of experience of driving on the wrong side of the road in other European countries.
