Thanks HJDK. I read somewhere years and years ago, the colours Alexander the Great had  on his banners was also blue and white when he was on conquest. However I asscoaite them complete with the blues and whites all over Greece, the sea, the deep blue attic sky, the whites and blues people paint their houses.. etc..

Oh Greece is poor, seriously poor... 7 injured players, but still, the level is terrible. We could have played 200 more minutes and still not scored. Don't think we will make the main tournament. The lack of talent is so acute - the game is worth watching just for research purposes.. it really is incredible how bad we are. Everyone at the bar I watched it was fascinated also... It is like someone gathered 11 players who play another sport - say roller hockey, and made them play a game of football. It takes Tachtsidis about 3 seconds just to get the ball under control from a two meter pass..

I didn't saw the games, but that is a little bit surprising for me.
Anyway, what I really want is that he do well in Benfica.
And I read somewhere that you considered Samaris an upgrade in relation to Fejsa. Did Samaris replaced Fejsa directly in Olympiakos or they played in Olympiakos in different positions?

They both played in a 3 man midfield but Samaris always seemed more attacking, better height etc. The more I think about, the more I think the further up the pitch the Samaris plays the better.

The last two games the Greek side was exceptionally poor - first time we lost two home games in 13 years. Samaris tried to change that but to no avail. He is still the best midfielder we have, but it seems he can't lift a very shit Greek team.

The problem is, most the Greek team are shit players who in turn make anyone they play with shit. Vyntra, Maniatis, Mavrias, Tachtidis, Salpi, Athanasiadis, Samaras, Tziolis.. these are all 3rd rate players.

The players of value are either always injured or no where near the team.

I hope that at least Samaris adapts to Benfica. Maybe it's a waste but in an interview that JJ recently gave he clearly admits that Samaris and Cristante count as 6 and that they are far from what he thinks that a 6 should do, because that position is the most important in our tactic.
