This will be a very tactical game. Juventus will try to take the decision home.

Benfica will have to be cautious and not attack in a crazy way, not to leave open spaces to Pirlo start counter-attack.

I think the italian fans believe that if they don't take goals in Lisboa, they will be in the final.

If Benfica can score an early goal, (in the first half) I think it would give an extra-confidence, and who knows what can happen after. The most important thing, for both teams is not to suffer goals of course.

Let's see if the italian defense can resist a team that has been scoring in every match for the last 63 matches at home.

a draw with goals is perfect
i know. for you is honey :p

are there a lot of juve fans coming to Lisboa ?

I was expecting more. last year thousands of turkish fans from fenerbahçe came to watch the semi final. There weren't enough places for everyone so they bought tickets for the general public. Even our forum and facebook was invaded by turkish lol

You should! They usually wear thongs or speedos and that is very sexy indeed.
They also use to shave their bottoms...

Festivus

Good victory of ours today, but this is far from being over.

Darkboy

Really impressed by your quality in possession. Much due to such an overpopulated midfield at the expenses of the attack of course, but still very comfortable with the ball. Not many teams come to Estádio da Luz playing like that.

Everything yet to decide. Juventus with ball, Benfica on the counter. That will be the 2nd leg dynamic.

MindMischief

Lots of refball in this game.
I seriously hope we have Gaitan, Fejsa and Oblak playing next match.

Fever

We couldn't have given this away goal.

Let's hope for the best in Turin.

It was a good game, between two fine teams.

My thoughts:

-Benfica played well only in the first 20 minutes and in the last 10. Between those two periods, Juventus controlled the game and could have scored on some occasions. Can't really figure why Benfica dropped the intensity of those first 20 minutes. Our team only rose again with the entry of I. Cavaleiro, given that A. Gomes was doing such a poor game and should have been substitued on the break. Shame Markovic couldn't score almost at the end of the game, as it would have given us a better margin to manage at Torino. The choices of Artur and Cardozo for this game are arguable, as they reflect the result on the scoreboard, given their interventions on the goals conceeded and scored (Artur should have done much better and Cardozo... well Lima, showed why he was a better option for this game)

-The referee had one of the worst performances of the year, with lots of wrong calls and judgements. The unmarked penalty strikes me as one of the worst decisions, could have changed the tide of the game completely though.

-Your midfielders are top class and I'm guessing Benfica is going to have a hard time at your home, definitely. In my opinion, the game is really far from being decided and anything can happen on the second game. If we manage to hold the score until the break, we might have a great chance of going along, as I do believe that even if you score in the second half, we might as well do the same.

Saw the game. Really didn't like your two centre backs again - they seem fragile in the 3 games I saw from your team this season. Also still don't like Cardozo. With better cbs and someone else other than Cardozo I think you could have got a better result. Juve seem slight favorites now.
