Well, it was the avant-garde performance worthy of Marina Abramovich. And Vuletic complained afterwards...why? Maybe because the balloon was too soft? Obviously, you can never please people, no matter how hard you try.

Yes, after Erdogan claimed that what happened at Fenerbahce stadium was a plot against Fenerbahce, all Turkish sport commentators started to argue that the game should be replayed. They now argue that Fenerbahce is a victim.  :2funny:

Turkish Football Federation announced that they will make a decision next Wednesday. Apparently, they want to prepare Turkish public for a scandalous decision.

By the way all those attackers who have been arrested by Turkish police are Fenerbahce members, loyal fans. They all have annual tickets for Fenerbahce games. So Erdogan claims that it is a conspiracy but how could that be if all those attackers are Fenerbahce fans?

Besiktas fans who are known to be opponent to Erdogan's rule declared that they won't let the team replay the game against Fenerbahce. Lets see what will happen.

So similar to Greece. They were hoping - media and savvidis in bed together - that the idiot who threw the till roll at Garcia was a non PAOK instigator. Turns out he was a lifelong PAOK fan who had done the same and worse many times in the stadium previously over the years and been successfully charged by police but strangely never banned from the PAOK stadium.... His trial for this particular incident has been delayed 4 times since the incident took place! The second time because he told the judge he has diarrhoea....

The Oly fans who stormed the pitch after AEK? Marinakis said they were not Olympiacos fans... strange considering they cane from the area Gate7 sit and away fans are banned....

Things get uglier in Turkish super league while the end of the league is approaching.

Look, here Galatasaray were against Alanyaspor and the result was a draw 2-2. When Muslera committed a faul (of course penalty and a red card) the side referee raised an offside flag after goalkeeper Muslera committed the faul. Can you imagine this? the referee knew that the position was not offside so he didn't raise the flag but when Muslera committed faul he raised.  :clap1:

Now this is from Besiktas game. the Ref even did not give a faul.  ;D

You are so lucky that you don't have such a dirty league.

Yes, Turkish Football Federation has just announced that the game between Fenerbahce and Besiktas will be replayed.  :clap1:

This is a perfect indicator of the corrupt nature of the Turkish football. The president of the country and some other influential politicians made statements on behalf of Fenerbahce and they portrayed Fenerbahce as a victim, aggrieved by its supporters.  :clap1:

So, according to Turkish Football Federation, it is ok to throw things at opponent players and coach, even wound them. This is the first time in Turkish football history that a game that was terminated due to home teams's fans violent activities will be replayed. Why? Because Fenerbahce have strong connections with the political elites of the country. They explicitly involved in match fixing in 2011 and they were not punished either. This hurts the sense of justice. I am so very much sad today.

How is Demba Ba playing for Goztepe?  :o

He was very good for Newcastle and Besiktas.

I actually blame UEFA for this grey area.  Rules should be if a game is interrupted through violence and the perps are shown to be genuine fans of the home team - game given to the opposing team - end of.

Kara Kartal, tell me something:

How did the great Ankaragücü stay the third division for so long? 4 years? I know they got promoted back to the second division last year and right now they're in second place in the promotion run for the Süper Lig.

Financial crisis?

Gençlerbirliği seem to be much more stable.

The Gençler had a fantastic run in the UEFA Cup that year.

They knocked out Blackburn, Sporting Lisbon and Parma only to end up losing to Valencia on extra time in Mestalla.

Yes, Besiktas announced that they will boycott the dirty Turkish Football Federation and won't replay the abandoned match against Fenerbahce. There are certain punishments for this boycott, but Besiktas fans are fully supporting this decision. I am a proud supporter of Besiktas.

Which punishments will Besiktas suffer?

Besiktas is in problems now after losing with Galatasaray...
