Hi everyone, Rangers fan here. I'm heading out to Lisbon and would like to attend the match. I have already applied for a ticket with our away fans but I have missed out as it works on a loyalty points system and around 6,700 fans applied and the allocation I believe is 3,250 so many fans like me missed out.

Will there be a general sale to the public for this game? How likely would it be to gain a ticket to sit with Benfica fans? Ideally I'd sit close to the away section but would also respect that I'd be sitting next to Benfica fans. Would I be better just trying to get one from a ticket tout company for example Stubhub or should I wait?

Any help with this would be appreciated. I'm looking forward to these games. Two proper clubs with nice history.

This game was a major sweat. It is a notoriously difficult venue because the pitch is plastic and hard to play on. Weather conditions tonight also didn't help. It's difficult any time but even more so when Kilmarnock have actually a decent team who are well set up with a good manager.

This was a big win for us and gives us more momentum and confidence. Our new manager has been almost perfect since joining but I think he made a mistake tonight with his starting line-up. But he realised this and made the right subs at HT.


I got a ticket for section 35, there will be a lot of Rangers fans in that section I suspect. See you guys there, we come in peace and just want to support our team and enjoy a really nice stadium!

What's your opinion on your current squad? Better or worse than the squad the last time we played? It was disappointing that we drew both of those games from a winning position but you guys were definitely the best team we came up against that season. Better than the Slavia Prague team that beat us in the quarter finals.

I saw that you got beat by Sporting but Di Maria pulled you back into the game with an assist and a goal. Was the referee correct in disallowing his goal? Is he your best player?

I didn't remember completely so I just checked our initial squads in 2020.

Individually both our initial squads were weaker than now. Was a week group and we both passed easily so also some rotation. In Lisbon you played 70min against 10 so it's an understandable draw. Funny that Otamendi is now our captain and was the worst player in the derby yesterday. Terrible!

In theory we would be super favorite and we have better players. Not only my opinion, but I think you also recognize that.
The gap seems bigger now, and not that I think it's the most important thing but you can check transfermarkt also. 3x times more valuable squad.
Only your left and right back would probably be important in Benfica.

Do you consider your team from 2020 stronger? I do.


Despite this don't panic, our coach is completely lost and we don't have a football team, just a group of eleven individuals. I didn't see Rangers recently but I guess you have an organized team so your hopes can be hight.
And the German coach will also prioritize the league if needed.

40% Benfica
