Hello to all of you from Hannover Unlike Robert, I can't speak Portuguese.

It is very touching to see how loved Enke was at Benfica and how fond memories you all have of him.   

I can tell you that Robert loved Benfica and your city very very much, he always talked about his years at Benfica and he actually wanted to return and eventually live in Lisboa, he liked his time there soo much.

We here in Hannover are just stunned, Enke was pretty much the hero of this town, he was so loved. All this is very hard to take. I cried so much over the last days.

This sunday there will be a huge memorial service at our stadium. I read that even Benfica players will attend. Respect! I expect to meet quite a few Benfica fans that live here in Germany there as well.

Benfica and Hannover should apoint a friendly game to honor Robert´s memory. The 2 Clubs where Robert was indeed happy.

Eu concordo, e aliás até podiamos dar parte das receitas ou totalidade a organizações de protecção dos animais. Tenho a certeza que alguém lá em cima ia sorrir.

I agree, and moreover we could pull the revenue for organizations for the protection of animals. I'm sure someone up there was a smile.

Sem dúvida, é uma bonita forma de honrar a sua memória.

Moreira no funeral de Enke
CERIMÓNIAS FÚNEBRES REALIZAM-SE DOMINGO


O guarda-redes Moreira, antigo companheiro de equipa de Robert Enke no Benfica entre 1999 e 2002, irá marcar presença no funeral do malogrado guardião alemão, que se realiza no domingo.
O clube da Luz estará ainda representado nas cerimónias fúnebres pelo vice-presidente Rui Gomes da Silva.
Robert Enke, que se suicidou na passada terça-feira, aos 32 anos, será também homenageado no estádio do Hannover 96, clube que representava.
