Shearer didn't say anything wrong, this is a much better draw for us than say Chelsea or Tottenham or another of the Russian teams.

You seem to be underestimating us massively, don't just look at the Premier League table and think we're shit, there are a lot of underlying factors as to why we have had a poor league season, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Coloccini, Krul all missing for large parts of the season. Don't forget we signed 5 new very good players in January, sadly Debuchy and Gouffran can't play in Europa League.

Don't forget also we have just knocked out a very, very good side in Anzhi Makhachkala. Nobody gave us a chance but we knocked them out and they have a very strong squad. Underestimate us at your peril, we are not here to make up the numbers we are here to go on and lift the Europa League in Amsterdam.

We have quality footballers all over the pitch, with Yohan Cabaye we have one of the best central midfielders in Europe.

I can't wait, it certainly will not be the walk over all of your supports seem to think it is. My flights and hotel are now booked from my trip to Lisbon.

I also have my ticket, it was £26, that is almost double what my ticket cost for the home leg on April 11 which was only £15.

Mas poliban, eu não tenho dito que vai ser uma eliminatória fácil (sorry for speaking portuguese Shearer ), eu tenho sempre dito, inclusive no dia do sorteio, que não vai ser assim tão fácil como parece porque o Newcastle de agora não tem nada a ver com o que era antes de Janeiro. O que eu disse quando falei do Everton foi que, como é óbvio, era bom ficar esses 2 resultados, principalmente aquele em casa, mas sei que não vai acontecer e se ganharmos 2-0 já fico satisfeito.

Hello Shearer,

Most streets in the city center and around your hotel have parking meters, usually from 9 am to 7pm. Around €9 for a day.

Faro to Lisbon = 2.30 hours with a €20.20 toll (A2 highway). You can take National roads, it's free but takes more time.

From your hotel to Caxias = 15 minutes if you take A5 highway. You can also try Marginal (river side road) it's free. Great View. But takes around 30 minutes.
