Cheers for the fair-play, JUVENTINO.

Benfica will have the most difficult game of the season in your ground, that's for sure. We're aware that your team can turn around this narrow win. With Vidal and Gaitán back, it should be even more entertaining for the neutrals.

I see you have a Serie A match between these two games against Benfica. Do you believe Conte will rest some players?
I hope and believe, that if Rome does not win against Milan, MR. put in place a team capable of winning with the sassuolo. because it would be mathematically won the championship.
In this way, the juve would be free mentally and to better prepare the semi-final return.

Hi Juventino.

Clearly. Our game was better than both CL semi-finals.
The Turin match will be completely different though, I fear for the first minutes of that game. Hope we can hold you off.

Do you think Juventus will field all the starters this weekend to clinch the title? How much is the focus on Benfica?
For example some of our pundits slammed Benfica management for allowing players to go celebrate in the streets with fans last weekend, how do you think Juve approach will be if you win?

These penalties are given very rarely against big sides.

If Juventus were playing Olympiakos - I am sure there would have been red cards and penalties against Oympiakos from the same ref.

Problem is Juventus are a big club, many neutrals want them to succeed and it shows.

For me, the penalty claim was weak anyway. Technically a penalty, but you rarely see them given.
A penalty is a penalty, and that one was clear. And the ref saw it, that is also clear.

Players don't have to claim or beg for penalties. If they do, the referee has to show a yellow card, isn't that so?

No I don't think so, there is no yellows for penalty appeals unless they are extreme. But any extreme behavior could give a yellow.

Also, there are penalties that are given easily and those that are not. For example a blatant trip usually ends up as a penalty far more often than a defender throwing an opposition player to the ground during a corner.

The type of penalty you were after is rarely given, especially against big teams.

Is it a foul or not? A foul inside the area is a penalty, correct me if I'm wrong... Am I wrong?

I'm not after a penalty, only after the truth.
Another question: what do you think would happen if it was in the opposite area?
To be honest, I've been watching football for more than 30 years, played for some years and even against some famous and top players, and most of the times, the referees concede this type of penalties. Not against Italian teams, though...

I am not debating whether it is a penalty or not - I already told you, technically it is a penalty. Technically everytime a defender pulls a striker to the floor in the box, during a free kick or corner, it is a penalty too..

What I am saying is the refs rarely give these type of penalties and it is even more rare against a big team like Juve.

Football is not an honest sport. Refs also are scared of certain players. Look at what Pepe has done to other players over the years without even a yellow.

Not a fair compairaison at all. At corners or free throws a penalty is given quite rarely.
Excuse me but I'll not continue with this.

My last post on this tread. Anyone who has the courage to say that this is not a penalty and clear as cristal water is not being honest.

And an honest referee always gives a penalty, always.

Good insights, Faliro.

I see. Aren't you afraid of the physical condition of less fit players like Pirlo though? I can see this being decided on extra time... 2-1 is a very likely result. 72h probably isn't enough for some players to fully recover their stamina and be prepared for 120' if that's the case.

How's this 2nd leg being perceived in Italy? Most Juventus fans consider this your biggest, most decisive, european game in the last decade or the CL group stage games gathered more excitement? Conte showed that he really wants an european cup, that's for sure. Probably more of a mad man than Jorge Jesus himself.

Excuse me but I'll not continue with this.

Faliro was just contextualising. He already said it was a penalty.
