Juventino, i have an italian friend from Novara that lives here in Portugal. He's a diehard Inter fan. The question i have for you is, who is your biggest rival and why? I've always thought it would be AC Milan, but it seems that Inter-Juve is the biggest rivalry. Why is that? Simply because both have the majority of fans in the Country, or there's other reasons behind it?

Good question :
Let's start by saying that juventus is the most hated of Italy .
When they make the calendars at the beginning of the season, the other teams (or basis of at least the fans ) say , "Okay , let's see when we play against Juventus ."
The Juventus fans , on the other hand , they say , "All right , let's see when we play against AC Milan , Inter, Fiorentina , Roma , etc. . Etc.". .
Before the scandal (2006 ) no team in particular was our natural antagonist ... there were so many antagonistic .
After 2006, Inter became the most hated team from Juventus .
Expressly for the following reasons :
1 ) they celebrated a championship awarded by the league after removing the juve ( inter came third in the championship with 15 points behind juventus ) ;
2 ) A few years later it was discovered that the Inter held behaviors far more serious than those of juventus . The juventus has never phoned directly to the arbitrators , while Facchetti ( God rest his soul ) is not only unhelpful to the referees but it turned out that he " Pushing " so that they had a behavior very encouraging for the inter . Only the prescription of offenses allowed to remain at Inter in Serie A.

It's exactly the same in Portugal. Other teams are only interested in the game against us. That's the price you pay, when your club is the biggest in the country.

But regarding Juve, prior to 2006, you didn't have one clear rival? Sure Inter and Milan, are the other big clubs in the country, but you didn't have one in particular? Isn't that a little strange? I always thought it would be AC Milan, simply because they have more Champions, even though less titles internally.

Fiorentina.

I guess Fiorentina has other reasons, namely Roberto Baggio.  ;D

Nuno Gomes said Fiorentina fans live the games against Juventus in a different way. But I'm guessing the feeling may not be mutual. According to what JUVENTINO said, all teams see Juventus as the team to take down.

Fiorentina.
before 2006 were created rivalries with the championship in process: if the title was disputed with Inter Milan (almost never) was then inter the main antagonist, and so on.

In every country, in every village of the Italian fans are so homes, created: 1) juventus 2) Milan / Inter 3) other.
Thus, the juve against everyone, and everyone against Juve.

The rivalry with Fiorentina is more from the "Viola"
It comes from a championship won against Fiorentina in 1982 (I think) the last minute.

Like SL Benfica in Portugal, the most loved but yet the most hated.

We more than anyone in Europe can understand that animosity. 50% of Portugal being red, there's a clear division between Benfica and anti Benfica. Sporting fans prefer Porto, Porto fans prefer Sporting.

In this video you can see "Sporting fans" (anti Benfica fans, actually) cheering Kelvin after his goal against Benfica.

Keep in mind that Porto were the team to fuck'em over for three decades. They even gave away their team captain João Moutinho. Porto thrived at the expenses of having Sporting as a feeder club.

How pathetic.

In the Netherlands, everyone seems to be against Ajax as well.

Juventus: 4 3 3

Buffon (but do not forget Zoff and Peruzzi)
Gentile, Scirea, Cannavaro, Cabrini
Nedved, Zidane, Platini
Trezeguet, Vialli, Del Piero

but as you see, hardly has a good harmony ... just passion for these players. I left out Baggio, Davids, tardelli, ravanelli, Bettega ... how do I put them in training?

Italy in general:

Buffon
Bergomi Scirea, Cannavaro, Maldini
Bruno Conti, tardelli, Pirlo
Vialli, Baggio, Del Piero (Totti)

JUVENTINO

what is the difference between Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese?

iis only a difference of idioms or grammar right?

JUVENTINO

it is true that the Brazilians are not considered in your league foreign players?
