I love these international users that for some reason stay here.

We should invite them to come to Lisbon someday.

The last week was epic important for BC Crvena Zvezda (and BC Partizan).

On 14.04. started semi final series of ABA league (best of 5 games) between Zvezda and Partizan.

This was not just a semis for the finals and chance to win a trophy (in fact, I would say that was 2nd motive not primary) but it was the battle for Euroleague.

Finalist of ABA league enter Euroleague, epic battle - the most important eternal derby.

We had the home court advantage (2-2-1), won the first game, but lost the second.

1-1

Partizan was the host of 3rd and 4th game and had a chance to win on home court.

BC Crvena Zvezda won the 3rd game on Saturday, then won the 4th and the series yesterday.

Huge, huge win of red and white heroes, Partizan has fallen.

Crvena Zvezda's triple crown

After winning the Adriatic league and the Serbian cup, Crvena Zvezda also won the Serbian championship title by beating Partizan 58-54 in Game 3 and completing a 3-0 sweep.

It was the first championship title for Zvezda since 1998. The winners beat their arch-rival, ironically in Hala Pionir, home court of both teams and also the gym in which Partizan in recent seasons registered some of the biggest wins in its history.

However Serbian basketball is now clearly entering the era of Crvena Zvezda. Nikola Milutinov of Partizan was the top scorer of the game with 17 points, while Luka Mitrovic and Branko Lazic led the way for the champions with 13 points scored each.

Among the fans who attended the game was Hawks' Pero Antic, who celebrates one more title in Europe with one of his old teams after the Greek championship with Olympiacos.

We have won EVERYTHING!

Serbia - World Champion in football!

In the end, a tournament full of surprises and late, late drama had a fitting conclusion. Serbia, playing in the FIFA U-20 World Cup for the first time as an independent nation, will leave as its champions.

That is the remarkable outcome after a dramatic and enthralling final day of action that thrilled a sell-out, 25,000-plus crowd at Auckland's North Harbour Stadium. Nemanja Maksimovic's decisive, 118th-minute goal settled the final 2-1 in favour of the delirious Serbians, and left five-time champions Brazil to settle for silver.

Serbia - EuroBasket Women Champion

Having never previously finished on the EuroBasket Women podium, Serbia are now the EuroBasket Women champions after taking a historical 76-68 triumph against France in front of over 5,000 fans in Budapest.

Ana Dabovic and Sonja Petrovic carried Serbia to their golden moment and were continual thorns in the side of Les Bleues. Dabovic again held the hot-hand and scored a game-high 25 points, while Petrovic was similarly clinical with 22 points and seven boards. Page also justified herself as a wise naturalised pick with plenty of hard work and also a smart 12 points and eight rebounds.

Tournament MVP : Ana Dabović

Serbia - Water Polo World League Champion

Serbia has beaten Croatia in finals 9:6.

After trailing 3:5, Serbia made 5:0 run, took the Gold medal and qualified for Olympic Games.
