Há 32 vagas, sendo que uma delas é para o vencedor da Liga Europa.

Se o vencedor da Liga Europa tiver acesso via campeonato, para onde vai essa vaga?

Essa é que é a questão. Vai para o 3.º de França e o Benfica sobe ao playoff?

Para o 3º de França vai de certeza.

A outra parte é que há duas hipóteses. Ou o Benfica sobre ao play-off. Ou os segundos de Holanda e Turquia sobem à 3ª pré.

O regulamento não é muito claro, mas diz isto:

"If the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League titleholder qualifies for the group stage of the competition through its domestic championship the vacancy created in the group stage is filled as follows:

A vacancy created by the UEFA Champions League titleholder is filled by the domestic champion of the association ranked 11th in the access list and the champions path is rebalanced accordingly with priority given to the club of the best ranked association of the respective round in the access list (see Annex A);

A vacancy created by the UEFA Europa League titleholder is filled by the third-placed club of the association ranked fifth in the access list and the league path is rebalanced accordingly with priority given to the club of the best ranked association of the respective round in the access list (see Annex A)."

Na época passada convinha ao Benfica que o Sevilla ganhasse a liga Europa para supostamente ficar no pote 2 da CL na fase de grupos e aconteceu.

Aconteceu mas depois somos eliminados com um golo de um jogador que oferecemos ao adversário.

O karma não quer nada com o Benfica. Quando dá é para tirar logo a seguir.
