He better be an improvement on Turnbull and O'Reilly otherwise he is of no use. O'Reilly will eventually be sold, maybe next summer. Regardless he'll have a chance to prove him self. If he was called Paul Bernard instead and was Scottish the fans would write him off after one bad game.

Well I don't know about a fast start, he's still a bit green.. But if he manages to live up to his potential he could very well end up being a good purchase for you not only on the pitch but as a future profitable sale. I haven't written him off completely yet despite the the lack of improvement shown on the pitch both at the club and on loan, but things have been rather difficult here last few years and to be fair last season our midfield was on top form so there was practically no game time for him here.

Eu acho que ele não tem fibra para o tipo de jogo no UK, mas sempre é melhor que ficar a pastar 6 meses.
