I take full responsibility for what happened and what I did, but it is important to me that you know the context surrounding the episode.

I was living in Denmark at the time. I received a short video and forwarded it to a friend a few seconds later without thinking twice. We have always sent each other jokes and memes, as many teenagers do. When I received this video and forwarded it, I did it as usual – without thinking that this one was different. I only saw the first few seconds, not what the video actually showed later.

My friend, who saw the video a few seconds later, immediately said that it was obviously illegal to send it, so I deleted it immediately.

Unfortunately, at the time, I didn't think about the consequences, or that sharing might be illegal. I should have understood the seriousness of the situation, but I didn't. The only explanation I have is that I was shocked to see what appeared to be two young men in an old video quality, and I forwarded it to a friend without a second thought.

My intention was not to spread anything or harm those involved. It was a stupid one-time mistake that I deeply regret. When the Danish police contacted me this year about the case, I told the truth and cooperated throughout the process. I was charged with the incident, and will likely be sentenced in the near future – most likely to a suspended sentence.

I have no excuses. What I did in Denmark at the time was illegal and not right. I take full responsibility for it, and I hope that my mistake can lead others not to make the same mistake after hearing or reading my story. I hope they will think twice before sharing something that should not be shared.

I would first and foremost like to apologize to those affected by the video. Then to my friends, family, employers, my country and all the fans I have disappointed.

Right now I wish I could go back in time and fix the mistake. I've never done anything illegal before or had anything to do with the police, so this has been a shock to me for a long time.

O que aconteceu é irrelevante. Ele nunca ia fazer esta publicação se não tivesse a certeza que ia ser condenado. Deve ter feito a conselho do advogado para ficar bem.

No fundo, temos um jogador que vai ser condenado por um crime. Com um bocadinho de jeito ainda foi antes de ser nosso jogador e nem temos direito a manda lo de vela.
