It will be a nice experience to play in Turkey for Benfica. I think the game will be very open since Trabzon has to attack and there will be gaps left open. Benfica has enough quality players to take advantage of that open space. I expect us to surely score a goal or two, I was very unimpressed by your defenders... it's your weakness. You have very good quality midfielders and the strikers also looked decent, so I am definitely not taking you lightly, but Benfica is just superior all around.

Indeed, I think with the expelled player any remaining doubts about the outcome of the match are dispelled. In my opinion it should have been a yellow card because there's absolutely no intention to hit Maxi. If Benfica can't win the game now it'll be a real shame!

It was what I was expecting - I'm just a bit disappointed because we could have won this match easily, especially after the deserved red card to Adrian. Clearly used the elbow, although I think he had no intention of using it.

I really liked Witsel, he was tremendous. In Trabzonspor side I liked Paulo Henrique, as I referred during half time.

I expected a whole lot better support from the fans after hearing so much about your tremendous vocal support so that didn't impressed me. The negative result and the early goal didn't help, for sure.

The match was interesting in the first half. The second half was very boring. There was again a big big mistake from the refferee; the postion of Burak was definitely not an offside. The red card in the second half also wasn't correct, because Maxi was direct behind Adrian so that he couldn't see him. His elbow acted very normal, everybody who jumps acts so! Whatever, you are in the play-off round now, I wish you good luck there.

Burak should be sent off, and I think that Adrian made that on purpose... On that offside, I think it was marked because the guy who Garay was covering, was offside, and interfered indirectly...

The performance of the ref was really awful to be honest, he always kept blowing the whistle although the ball remained in possesion of the attacking team. There should have been a penalty in favor of Benfica, and imo Adrian was well sent off. He didnt have the intention to use the elbow but what really matters is that he took advantage of it. Too bad the inumerous chances wasted otherwise we could have snatched a big win.
MVP of the match= Witsel, awesome player, gave Zokora a lot of work to do and wasn´t able to cope with the Belgians' phisique.

Btw, are Trabzonspor automatically in the Europa League or are they out of any sort of European competitions?
