para uma homenagem ao Eusébio ficava melhor o Man Utd pois foi um clube que entrou na história do Eusébio jogador para além de ser o clube do Charlton.

mas os outros dois eram jogos que tínhamos de fazer, principalmente o Torino.

Morte da lenda do Futebol, Eusébio!

É com grande tristeza que o Celtic soube da notícia da morte da lenda do futebol, Eusébio. O avançado português deixa-nos aos 71 anos.

O jogador nascido em Moçambique foi uma das grandes estrelas no seu clube, Benfica, como no seu país, e com os seus golos ajudou Portugal a chegar ao terceiro lugar no Mundial de 1966.

Ele ainda enfrentou o Celtic na segunda ronda da Taça dos Campeões Europeus em 1960/70.

O Celtic ganhou a primeira mão por 3-0 em Glasgow, mas perdemos 3-0 na outra eliminatória, com Eusébio entre os marcadores. Esse jogo ficou famoso por termos ganho com o lançamento da moeda ao ar.

Uma figura muito respeitada no mundo do futebol, ele recebeu uma das mais calorosas recepções quando voltou ao Celtic Park em 2006, na noite em que os "Hoops" defrontaram o Benfica na UEFA Champions League.

Todos os nossos pensamentos e orações de todos os adeptos do Celtic estão com a família e com os amigos de Eusébio neste momento muito triste.
