With an entire team missing through injury, he needed a miracle."

With an entire team missing through injury, he needed a miracle."

I've read this elsewhere, and it's misleading, if not entirely disingenuous. Right, so none of these are regular first team players?

Howard, Gosling, Hibbert, Distin, Rodwell, Cahill, Fellaini, Saha, Yakubu, Jo.

That's ten (TEN!) players who would be hoping to play week in, week out, with Howard, Hibbert, Distin, Cahill, Fellaini, Saha, Yakubu and Jo (eight of the above) being first choice players. So to suggest that Everton were somehow trawling the youth team and reserves to get a team on the pitch is really a non-starter. They were torn apart by a side with a determination to win with attacking football and flare, and how many times can we say that about Everton?

BOM JOGO...........GRANDE JOGO.
