How do you, as a Olympiacos supporter feel about Vitor Pereira? How was his image in Greece and how was it affected after him leaving the way he did (negotiations with a Scottish club while under contract). If you could choose a portuguese manager for Olympiakos, who would you choose and why?

Many points there, so I will try answer them one by one. Personally I didn't like VP that much.  I didn't mind the whole Leoforos pantomime. What irritated me is that I found him far to defensive. 

The undercurrent of what happened with him is thus and it is not totally his fault. Olympiacos - the fans and the management - were not sold on him. He lost some key games and there was the general belief that Michel was far better. However, the decision makers at Olympiacos publicly backed Pereira, but deep down, there was the feeling that they were not satisfied with him. VP correctly imo, felt this and started looking around for a new club. When Olympiacos found out, the excuse was there to sack him. That is what happened. No one really hates him for going to Turkey or speaking to another club - everyone knew his position was not safe - so it's hard to blame him. He didn't want to be a victim and I think we can all relate to that.

If I could choose ant Portuguese manager, it would have to be the The Special One, would just be fantasy land. I don't need to tell you why - you must surely know the intellectual assets that man has. As it is, Marco seems an good fit. I just hope he is clever with the squad selections. Intelligence is only one thing you need to be a success as a football manager. The other is luck.

Sorry about all the questions all at once. However, I was very curious as to what the idea of a true Olympiacos supporter felt about the whole Vitor Pereira era and his management of the team.

I agree with you as far as being a very defensive manager. Many times, when speaking of Vitor Pereira, everyone emphasizes his control of the match, but I find it very often based on defensive stability where his teams try and control the ball in the first third of the pitch. His teams tend to play far from the last third, and as a fan its something i can understand but don't enjoy too much.

Good luck for this season! Marco Silva is a good manager, but it's a new reality for him. One which winning is a must and not enough just to win, but winning with some brilliance and good football. Im sure he will do a good job!

I think he's a good player but for some reason it didn't go well for him in Spain. I don't follow La Liga,so you should wait for opinions from other people,but I liked what I saw from his time in Holland

What was the reasoning? I thought they had a solid case against him.

Alafouzos said the case was strong and made his TV channel he owns called Skai say the same. In fact there was no direct evidence of any sort. Some he said she said.. The real instigator was Melissanidis. UEFA reviewed the evidence and laughed. Then PAO and PAOK sent representatives to UEFA 2 weeks ago to beg that Olympiacos is thrown out of the CL. They asked why was Fenerbache thrown out before and not Olympiacos. They failed to get UEFA interested.

There were some claims that the game against Veria years ago was fixed by some ex players. However Georgeas (AEK player - before Veria) and many others said it was nonsense. Georgeas was threatened for saying that as were others who said the game was not fixed.

The only thing I actually remember being proved was years ago Marinakis was caught saying he is willing to send some fans (send some of my boys I believe was the phrase) down to help Corinthos in their game against Patras (aka Panaxiaki - Samaris' old club) or something like that.. These fans would most probably be Gate 7 heavies..

Also Melissandis tried hard to link the Noor One (Togo flagged) - a seized boat last year..that carried two tonnes of heroin.. to Marinakis. The value of the heroin was around €30 million.
