Citação de: Godescalco em 24 de Fevereiro de 2026, 23:30It was a good showing tonight by Olympiakos at Ulrich Haberland, @Faliro.

Despite being eliminated, I liked how the boys played unto the end. Very aggressive. With some good signings in the summer, this team can go places.

It's a very good description. I think Chiquinho has been poor this season and that has affected us. We rely on a 10 and he has been bit weird lately. We missed Podence (injured). The boys fought very hard.

So now we concentrate on the league as we are out of Europe and out of the Cup. You are right, we need one or two signings. Maybe a 10, Fortounis may return..

BTW, really like the look of Luiz. A little clumsy but huge strength and skill and if we can just refine him..

Today is Olympiacos' 101st birthday! The greatest, most popular and biggest club from Greece. A historical mammoth of Southern European sports.

Congratulations, @Faliro.

The goal of the Olympiacos administration is to begin the renovation works of "G. Karaiskakis" as soon as possible and to finish them quickly.

Olympiacos: Wants to finish the new "G. Karaiskakis" immediately
The idea of renovating the  "G. Karaiskakis" and specifically increasing the capacity of the Faliraki stadium has been around for a long time. Olympiacos president Vangelis Marinakis has long given the order to move forward with this project, and his goal is to have it implemented as soon as possible.

This is not a simple matter, but a major project that will require overcoming bureaucratic issues in order to begin. Currently, Olympiacos has completed the studies that needed to be done.

In Piraeus, they have arranged every last detail to proceed with the project to increase the capacity of "G. Karaiskakis". Vangelis Marinakis' intention, after all, is for the reconstruction of the Faliro stadium to be completed as quickly as possible.

It is already a stadium that is constantly undergoing improvement projects, but what the management wants is for Olympiacos to have the most modern facilities in Greece. This is the major project that the management is running, which aims to transform Olympiacos' historic home into a stadium that will remind many of "San Mames".

The capacity of the new "G. Karaiskakis" will reach 54,000, with a maximum of 55,000. Also, another important parameter of this story is that Olympiacos will be evicted for two seasons in the end and not for one as initially seemed. After the meetings held with engineers and companies that will undertake the project, they have concluded that the Piraeus team will have to lose its "home" for two seasons. At least with this perspective, it will leave. Whether it will end sooner is another story.

What's the reserve stadium they'll play in for those 2 years? OAKA Spyros Louis?

This is the question as the works now seem to be vast - I am not even sure they are not building an entirely new stadium given the new capacity at 54k.

The OAKA is the obvious choice as it is big, problem is PAO have exclusive rights there and if they don't want to share with Olympiacos...

The other option is where Oly have been before when needing time away from the karaiskaki - Rizoupoli. Problem is that that would not even fit the season holders as it is only 14k. The thing is, Oly could add seats there but looking at it, there is no space to do that as the missing stand has a sports centre already built there.

Oly can look towards the Peloponnese like the Pampeloponnisiako Stadium but logistically I am not sure it will work. Over 2 hours by car..

Nice win today in the derby against PAO.

Olympiakos still has a shot at the title, although AEK look like favorites.

Do you know this classic song, @Faliro?

@ Thrylos 7 International:

We needed a win tonight. We failed. While the team competed on a high level in Europe this season and gave us some joy there, our league form this season has been nothing short of a monumental disappointment.

A lot of work to be done this summer. Olympiacos now sit in third equal on points with second placed PAOK and 5 behind AEK who play PAO tonight. The title looks all but lost, and with it the cycle of this team. Already thinking ahead to next season. We must look forward.

Yes. Important to support Mendilibar and get in some new wingers. I really like Andre btw.
