como é que é Faliro, tá tudo a rolar?
A ensinar-lhe português?

Brasileiro, ainda por cima.
Bem, o Faliro é casado com uma brasileira...

Deve aprender português direito antes de entrar nos dialectos.

You should have a 40-45k seat stadium.

Faliro

#1174
We should. The stadium should be at least over 40k. The tickets for Juventus sold out in 8 hours today.

There was an effort a few years ago to increase the capacity. It involved digging out the pitch and adding another few tiers by lowering the pitch. The main plan was simply to just build outwards as their is room on three sides to do that. However, in order to build out, deeper foundations would be needed to erect taller stands and unfortunately when they tested the bedrock, they found only sand... Most of Faliron Bay used to be beach in the old days...

Today...

Last year or 2 years ago i read somthing about spanding to 37k seat.

PS: With of these have more fans, PAOK AEK and PAO

Faliro

Percentage of supporters:

ΟΣΦΠ 39%, ΠΑΟ 30%, ΑΕΚ 15%, ΠΑΟΚ 11%, Άρης 5%.

Having copy and pasted that however, I believe PAO have lost many fans the last 4 years.

T1n0_SLB

I though PAOK had more fans than AEK

Faliro

Yea to be honest i am not sure about these statistics either. Most of northern Greece/Macedonia prefecture support PAOK.. As for PAO, the figure seems too high.

AEK however do have lots of fans concentrated in Athens - especially the northern suburbs..

Tha'ts why i think PAOK has more fans than that.

Yea, I am not sure how they come up with these stats... unless they take into account all villages and towns... there is no point...

We talk about the quantity of supporters here sometimes as well. It's not uncommon to compare Porto and Sporting in terms of fan numbers. Sporting have certainly suffered more in this respect than we have. We're still quite ahead of both of our rivals in terms of fan support.

Is it like Greece where whole communities living 100s of miles away from Piraeus are hardcore olympiakos fans?

There's a lot of Benfica fans all over the country, including the Madeira and Azores archipelagos, if that's what you mean. The only cities I can think of where we're not the most well supported club is in the city of Guimarães(most are Vitória SC fans there) and the city of Oporto. That being said, you're a lot more likely to find a Benfica fan in the city of Oporto and its metropolitan area than to find a Porto fan in Lisbon. I've lived in Lisbon my whole life, and I can assure you that Lisboetas who are Porto fans are a rare species.

Portugal is a hardcore Benfica fan. Popular mythos say we have 6M supporters, I think we are not far from it.
