Was a super interview actually - a real insight into the owner of the biggest club of Greece.

''Surely this is not an easy draw but we are obliged as Olympiacos try our best in our group of the Champions League. I think we will manage to bring victories, but also qualify. Our first target for this year is the league and cup double in Greece. Beyond that, in Europe, we want to qualify to the next stage, namely '16' the Champions League.

Football is celebration and we are pleased that we will face a great opponent like Bayern Munich. We will try abreast for the best. We can beat Bayern and fight to win it. As for Arsenal, our history together has shown not only how to always win at home, but also in London abreast we have made excellent performances and we had it difficult there. We could have had better results in England if we had a little more luck.

We above all we are Greeks and we are delighted that Greek teams are doing well in Europe. We want the good of our country. We want to do well. We do not have a complex at Olympiacos ... As for us, the Olympic jersey is heavy! And it is heavy both for players and for the coach. Everyone must show their best in order to succeed. I think it will do well.

Whether to sell players, whether to buy players. I want to clarify this. Our goal Olympiakos is to build and create a strong and good team. This is what we want.

Bryan.

Hernâni is better than Sebá. He's the one Marco really wanted.

Not a star but will be a very serious threat in Greek League. Very very fast and good dribble. Pardo level at least.

Jara gone. Congrats, Faliro  :rir:

I will only believe it the moment he is officially gone.  ;D

Olympiacos release Jara!!!!!!!!

http://www.olympiacos.org/article/50574/pae-olympiakos-anakoinosi

We had signed him until 2017!!! And we release him?? That means in my mind there was not one offer... and we just cut our loses!  :-X :-X :-X

Bryan.

Most likely.

There was one foreigner too many.

Olympiacos had to get rid of Jara but no one wanted this crap.
Now as a free agent he's in a better position to find something. Maybe real estate? There are probably some opportunities in Athens at the moment with the crisis.
