Hellenic Football Federation - corrupt and thieving.

Also as the Portuguese Federation. They probably went to the school together.

This video made me laugh today. It is a video taken at Agios Kosmas - which is the training facilities dedicated to the Greek national team. Some cakes were gifted to certain players for their Name day (Greeks celebrate their saint's day/ name day more than Birthdays etc).

Santos comes in to take some cake and says a few words in Greek (he can actually speak Greek) in perhaps the thickest Portuguese accent i have ever heard..

A friend of mine visited Greece in 2008 and he says that every Greek he met had a pretty thick accent when speaking English. He found their accents pretty funny and hard to understand.

From my experience, greeks speak English. It is incredible. Most Greeks can converse in English with little problem, far more than italians, french or Spanish who in general don't speak any English.

I find the Greek accent in English one of the most hilarious globally. I have to stop myself laughing at it when in public.

It's a small country with a language that pretty much no one around the world learns, so naturally you gotta learn English to be able to communicate with foreigners. Same thing happens here. People always make an effort to speak English, or any other foreign language, when they can.

When I speak English, I often get told that I sound Russian/Slavic ;D
