answer to Festivus and special_red:
I see that your domestic cup is highly coveted.
In Italy, the national cup, is considered almost insignificant.
It becomes important only when you arrive at the end, or if you failed the sports season.
For example, juventus has won 9, but since 1995 he does not win the cup.
In fact, Antonio Conte, in the quarter-final against Roma did play a lot of reserves.
Yeah, an Italian once told me that in Italy, it's called "Grandpa Cup" or something like that. Why does it have such reputation, though?

Taça de Portugal is a trophy the big 3 want to win every season, no doubt.
Hard to explain.
Since this competition is always snubbed by Italian clubs (even from small clubs).
I think the Premier League with 20 clubs could be an explanation.
38 games in Serie A and are exhausting the domestic cup takes away concentration on Serie A.

The winner of the Italian Cup earns also a place in the Europe League in the following year?

Yes!

What about you, JUVENTINO? Confident for the World Cup?

JUVENTINO

In the past, the winner of the domestic cup, the following year he played in the Cup Winners' Cup.

Often, smaller teams cup winners Italy, they made beautiful figures in Europe: Atalanta, who came to the semifinals (lost to MALINES) or Vicenza (arrived at the semi-final against Chelsea and seemed).

Legendary was the way in Atalanta Cup Winners 'Cup: finalist in the Italian Cup the year before (the other finalist was the vicitrice Napoli Serie A) participated in the Cup Winners' Cup because napoli won the Scudetto and then played the champions league .
That year the atalanta retreated in series B. Therefore, played the Cup Winners' Cup while competing in the Serie B.

There are at least five or six most powerful nations of Italy.
The qualifying round is very hard: Uruguay and England are difficult to play.
In attack, Prandelli will rely on Balotelli-Cassano couple that compared to other couples of attack is small change.
But, if Italy goes the first round, anything can happen.
I remember in germany that the team became stronger and stronger game by game.
About germany 2006 semi-final against France portugal was unlucky ... just a Zidane penalty (if I remember correctly), prompting France to play the final.

Well, to be honest, France had a better team than us. Our big opportunity was Euro 2004... but we had to lose it to Greece -__-

Generally speaking, what do italians think of Balotelli? I personally find him unprofessional. A shame he wastes away his talent.

be paradoxical as Portugal (a country that has expressed many talents) has never won anything at international level (I speak of competitions for nations), while a country such as Greece could even count a European championship.
Moreover, Spain (other nation that has expressed many talents) just a decade now has succeeded in establishing itself internationally.

Balotelli is a monstrous talent, but rarely puts this talent to the team.
See, the difference between CR7 and Balotelli is this:
both dickheads, but CR7 is crucial for his team, not Mario.

from one to ten: which vote given to the Italian league?

in Italy there is a tendency in Europe to cheer for the teams of the heart at the expense of the rankings ... for two years, in fact it has surpassed Germany as the number of teams to be deployed in CL.
In Portugal there is the same tendency? or interests you the third place in the rankings to bring 4 teams in the CL?

You're asking us if we want other Portuguese teams, including our rivals, to do well in Europe in hope of improving the coeficient of our league? No, that's mostly a media thing. Most people here want Porto and Sporting to lose every game in Europe, and I guarantee you that most Sporting and Porto fans wish the same upon us.

JUVENTINO

There is rivalry (football) between Portugal and Spain?

If yes, how would you see an all-Spanish final of the champions league in your stadium?

Fans of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid as they would be greeted in Lisbon?

Obviously there is. They're our biggest rival in international football. As for spanish clubs, nah. We wouldn't really care if a spanish club like Atlético de Madrid or Real Madrid won the Champions League. And if a spanish club faces Sporting or Porto I want the Spanish club to beat them. We all loved it when Sevilla crushed Porto recently.

ok, but, for example, I would take it well if two English teams will play the Champions League final in Turin in a hypothetical.

It's irrelevant. Doesn't matter to us if they're spaniards, english, italian or german. As long as they bring cash and be have we won't mind them.  :smokin:
