It's really a pity that both teams could not play with their best players in both matches.
We've also had problems with Salvio, Gaitàn e Fejsa. Hopefully the last 2 might be fit for the 2nd game.
I really admire your coach ...
will make a virtue of necessity.
Your coach gave, Thursdays, turn the game: When the juventus could do the second goal, he did not just come in Lima that has marked your advantage, but it gave confidence to the team and over the past ten minutes the juventus has suffered so much.

Personally, I have the utmost respect for benfica and its history.
But, I would also respect for Benfica if the club did not have a glorious history.

Do you think that in turin May 14, Benfica and Juventus easy win the final?
We must have a proper respect for Valencia or Seville.

Finally, with respect to the teams, their cities, nations and people.

If we want to grow as Europe, we must put aside the past and respect different cultures.
First of all, I consider myself an European above all. Second, as I said before, I love your country and visited plenty of Italian cities, even in Sardegna. Loved them all, but Roma, Milano, Florenza and Verona were my favorite ones.

I truly believe that either Juventus or Benfica are favorites against the Spaniards. And I really know Sevilla very well cause I have many friends in Andalucia. Right now Sevilla is stronger than Valencia, and a more dangerous opponent, I guess.
Under normal circumstances any of our teams would beat them in the final.

You benfica fans were in agree with the company when, BEGINNING championship, it wanted to exonerate Jesus?

I really like your coach

Laudrup, as you would have seen on your bench?

Yea. Most fans wanted Jesus out. He really improved our football, both in style and efficiency, as you can see by our UEFA Ranking variation in recent years for example, but the lack of trophies isn't something we can ignore. Losing it all last season after having a solid advantage to Porto in the year before and waste it as well did some damage to the confidence of the fans. Luckily we're already portuguese champions, that restablished some faith in the team. Anyway, he earns 4M€/year so he still own us some more cups. He earns more than any player in Benfica ever did. Probably Juventus can pay 4M€ per year easily but for us is a real sacrifice.

The president Luís Filipe Vieira renewed hs contract not only against the fans will but the executive board as well. A risky bet that was already won with the portuguese title. Kudos to him.

Such a pleasure to read JUVENTINO's posts. I hope he stays here after Thursday, just like Faliro.

thank you ...  :ashamed:

it is clear that right now, my posts are frequent in your forum and of course that they will diminish after Tuesday, but I can not forget you and how Faliro try to be present even after the semifinals.

My comparison with you, I'm finding not only enjoyable, but also constructive. O0

It 'a pleasure for example, to speak not only of Benfica-juventus, but also of Portuguese football in general ... or even talk of your town, city, customs and habits.

It 'also nice to talk about the story (as has happened a few days ago with the intervention of Faliro).

Every day, I am tempted to put the smiles of the benfica fan with flag bat ... I can not do now.

Maybe I'll do it after the semi-final (though it will end).

for the moment this place smiles:

Juventino, i have an italian friend from Novara that lives here in Portugal. He's a diehard Inter fan. The question i have for you is, who is your biggest rival and why? I've always thought it would be AC Milan, but it seems that Inter-Juve is the biggest rivalry. Why is that? Simply because both have the majority of fans in the Country, or there's other reasons behind it?

Good question :
Let's start by saying that juventus is the most hated of Italy .
When they make the calendars at the beginning of the season, the other teams (or basis of at least the fans ) say , "Okay , let's see when we play against Juventus ."
The Juventus fans , on the other hand , they say , "All right , let's see when we play against AC Milan , Inter, Fiorentina , Roma , etc. . Etc.". .
Before the scandal (2006 ) no team in particular was our natural antagonist ... there were so many antagonistic .
After 2006, Inter became the most hated team from Juventus .
Expressly for the following reasons :
1 ) they celebrated a championship awarded by the league after removing the juve ( inter came third in the championship with 15 points behind juventus ) ;
2 ) A few years later it was discovered that the Inter held behaviors far more serious than those of juventus . The juventus has never phoned directly to the arbitrators , while Facchetti ( God rest his soul ) is not only unhelpful to the referees but it turned out that he " Pushing " so that they had a behavior very encouraging for the inter . Only the prescription of offenses allowed to remain at Inter in Serie A.
