Out of curiousity, how is Pedro Caixinha viewed in Portugal?

He has done relatively well managing in Mexico but was a disaster at Rangers.  His signings barring Morelos and to an extent Ryan Jack just never worked out or were terrible- Pena, Herrera, Bruno Alves, Cardoso, Dorrans.

Do the Portuguese media ever talk about him or foreign managers abroad (excluding Mourinho)?

Seen like shit. Must be one of the few portuguese coaches, even the portuguese don't rate highly.

We seem to think a lot about our coaches, like they're the best in the world, when really they are mid, if that.

But to think Candeias had a relative success in the Scottish League, goes to show how far the Scottish League needs to improve before it can start to consistently challenge the ''big seven'', if you know what i mean.

Caixinha is clearly not in the Top 15 of Portuguese coaches. He haven't done much in Portugal.
To respond to the other question you asked, yes the Portuguese media covers almost all Portuguese coaches around the world. They even talk about players joining their teams.
Latelly we get a lot of info about the Brasilian championship, because all the coaches that are there: Abel Ferreira, Luis Castro, Vitor Pereira, etc.
For you to see, we even got info about the Equatorian League because of Renato Paiva is training Independiente del Valle

He's a Celtic hero  every game against Rangers we wondered if we could break the record scoreline against them, also brought lots of entertainment in Europe where Rangers lost to such European heavyweights like Progress Niederkorn, fighting in bushes with his own fans and an analogy about driving a caravan surrounded by dogs that everyone in Scotland is confused by. It's not to do with the terms, it's to do with the agents cut I believe. I think it will be done soon though

Why do you need agent if you are paying the release clause?

Because, even with release terms, the player have to agree and he has is agents that are trying to make the best deal possible, knowing that Benfica is far incompetent and set the price to low for Jota's quality.
