I haven't heard anything since last week when it was apparently close. The Scottish media certainly haven't said anything about the option expiring or running out which they would usually pounce on.

The Scottish media did put a deadline on Carter Vickers and said if he doesn't sign by 2 weeks that there are English teams interested.

We'll be releasing our new home jersey shortly. If Jota isn't promoting it then I'll worry but I'm still optimistic for now.

But knowing Benfica as we do, the silence of our board around the Jota situation seems to indicate that he will be a Celtic player.

If it wasn't going well I think there would be rumours going and the Scottish media would be desperate to say so. I think it's just a quiet time right now but I will start worrying if no news by next week.

Não percebo o "secretismo" e a lentidão deste processo.

Os termos já estavam definidos. Se não está resolvido ou é porque o jogador não quer, ou o Celtic não tem garantias / liquidez para exercer a opção.

Obviamente não o têm (poucos clubes no mundo pagam 7 milhões a pronto) e precisam de negociar com o Benfica os prazos do pagamento.
