He scored only 4 goals and could not even be bothered to move. In his mind, his career was already over, no ambition left.Only a desire to milk as much money as possible.

I do not want to burst your bubble...But this is a maneouvre your president is using to win more support. Even if you get him... Cavani will not solve your problems. And Benfica fans should not be like Turkish fans... Do not be dazzled by "big names"

Ailton flopped at Besiktas and Hamburg before signing for Zvezda.

Cavani is one the best strikers in the current game.

No offense, but hardly a fair comparison.

The comparison is as fair as a comparison between Serbian league in 2006, and Portuguese league in 2020.

Anyway, he only really flopped at Beskitas because at Hamburg he was out for most of the season since he broke his jaw.  Sadly, Cavani too has been plagued by injuries lately. He also played only 14 league games in 2019/20 (mostly coming off the bench, 602 minutes, 4 goals) and three CL games. Hardly one of the best strikers in the game right now? We have to admit he is on the downward spiral.

I hope for you he will shine. But do not expect much from a 33-year old player well past his prime. And do not let his name dazzle you.

Será que o Cavani estará sequer muito interessado em continuar a carreira ao mais alto nível?

Do que vou apanhando aqui do IG do Cavani parece o tipo de gajo completamente diferente do futebolista normal de topo e parece ter uma grande ligação à terra dele e ao povo dele e gosta é do campo.

Pode estar numa de ver que propostas lhe aparecem e se não gostar de nada ainda acaba a carreira.
Dinheiro não lhe deve faltar, nem para ele nem para as próximas gerações.

pa ele deve sustentar muita gente.... principalmente ex mulher , a corrente mulher e os filhos.

Por mais incrivel que pareça é muito facil gastar dinheiro....principalmente com coisas de topo. Colegios de topo , comida de topo , casas de topo , mulheres que nao fazem nada etc etc

cada pessoa é uma pessoa.

Tens o exemplo do Ronaldo que aos 35 anos ainda luta para se manter no topo e tem dinheiro , titulos e recordes suficientes para acabar a carreira amanhã, no top 3 dos melhores do mundo da actualidade e um dos maiores de sempre do futebol. O Desafio dele não é ganhar dinheiro ou ter uma reforma de luxo. O Desafio mental do Ronaldo é continuar a ser dos melhores.

E depois tens tipos como o Ronaldinho Gaucho e Rivaldo que eram igualmente bolas de ouro e acabaram as carreiras arrastando-se em equipas de quinta categoria. O Rivaldo até em Moçambique andou a jogar ...

Este até pode ter outros interesses que o motivem para além do futebol.
E tendo 33 anos pode estar já naquela de pensar noutra coisa para além do futebol mas sei lá...

Até porque o Cavani mesmo com a idade dele é estranho não ter interessados nos grandes de Inglaterra ou de Espanha e falar se em Benfica, Lazio ou Roma.

Minions with no shame.
After a year losing all games to an interventioned rival, after another year with the name of the club in the mud by the newspapers, another year with money moving (failed OPA, signing players that don't even play a game -Cadiz...), another year with symbol of the club being changed (which goes against the rules of the club), with rumours of deals that should lead to the current president being banned from rhe club....


....and we have more than 3000 pages in a possible new player. And we are not talking about an inexpensive cookie...

Não sei se ia adiantar de alguma coisa, mas pelo menos passava a imagem de que ele iria ser um ídolo se cá estivesse.
