Treble-winner in 2020 (Division 1, Coupe de France, UEFA Champions League), Olympique Lyonnais, claims its sixth consecutive IFFHS World's Best Woman Club Award with a record of points (360) !

Every club in the world has its own culture and method of operation, but few clubs come close to Olympique Lyonnais. President Jean-Michael Aulas introduced a one of a kind business model cleansing the club of its depts after taking over in 1987 and promoting it to the Ligue 1 just three years after. Since then, Lyon has become one of the model clubs in the world and perfected its successful business model applying it to Olympique Lyonnais Feminin after acquiring an already established FC Lyon in 2004. Result : 14 consecutive national league titles and 7 UEFA Champions League (5 consecutive from 2016 to 2020) !

Les « Lyonnaises » have cemented their dominance over the world of women's football once again claiming the 2020 IFFHS World's Best Woman Club award for the sixth year in a row. In fact, this is their seventh since 2012 with VFL Wolfsburg winning it in 2013 and 2014. This is also Lyon's fifteenth IFFHS Award since 2012, seven for the club, four for goalkeeper Sarah Bouhaddi , three for Playmaker Dzsenifer Marozsan and one for Team Coach Jean Luc Vasseur.

After 2016 and 2018, Dzsenifer Marozsan, Germany's and Olympique Lyon Playmaker, wins sovereign her third IFFHS Award of THE WORLD'S BEST WOMAN PLAYMAKER in 2020 !

A Lyon player since summer 2016 after joining from Frankfurt ( one UEFA Champions League 2015), Dzsenifer Marozsan immediately showed her qualities : ingenious in her dribbling, brilliant in her passing, precise on free kicks, altruistic in her vision; the German international (Olympic Gold Medal 2016, UEFA Euro 2013) had everything to be The Playmaker of very high class, one that brings others into play !

Crowned best player in D1 on her arrival in France, Dzsenifer Marozsan is also very close to the world's best with her two nominations for the Ballon d'Or in two editions (including finishing 3rd in 2018) and her ranking in the TOP 5 of the IFFHS World's Best Playmaker since 2013 ! She has already won with Lyon four French titles, three Coupes de France, four UEFA Champions League and a Trophée des Championnes.
