Is there anything that explains the Rangers manager leaving the club to go to Salzburg? From my perspective, looking at it from afar, the hierarchies of the clubs were opposite.


The normal thing would be to swap Salzburg for Rangers, not the other way around.

Salzburg can offer a better wage and better players overall. Scottish league scouting has been atrocious in the last few years.
