He stated he was always an Inter fan.. Why? He said when he was a boy he saw some Inter Fans on a ferry in Greece and became a fan after that day..

I have seen Italians on ferries in Greece - sometimes drunk...usually loud and very proud to be Italian.. they usually make you want to jump off the ferry and take your chances...

Walking the Greek league has been a given for the past few years. At least, if and until PAO or PAOK can step up their acts. What I personally think should be a priority to Olympiakos is to build a team good enough to win, say, an Europa League.

But sadly, we seem to make it to the last 16 of the CL... I think our team is good enough for a Europa Semi...

I still remember that disgraceful elimination to Metalist, in 5 minutes or so you lost a qualification.

There have been a couple of those Jase... One that pissed me off was Saint Etienne knocking us out in the third round in 2009. We had a great team, good coach...

I remember Nolito saying he's always supported benfica in Portugal when he signed for us. Apparently, Ricardo(remember him? shit GK) supported Betis as a kid as well. Although that's nto really surprising if both players lived near the border...

AC Milan has been the most well-known Italian club here in Portugal since I remember. Juventus came behind but still a certain distance. Inter were on the spotlight for a while during Mourinho's tenure at it, but before and after it, I don't think people cared much about Inter. Fiorentina was a bit followed back in the 90s when Rui Costa and Nuno Gomes played for it but nothing huge as a whole.

Going by FB likes, AC Milan has more than most Italian clubs combined. Those European trophies sure have helped them.

As a kid, Serie A was the foreign league I followed the most and took an almost instant liking to AC Milan and I have no idea why.

Milan is famous for Van Basten era and international trophies, you cant win against 7 CL.
Juventus got problems outside Italy and Inter is too much discontinuous, some years good, than others mediocre.

The fact that now our league is poor doesn't help for sure

I just loved watching guys like Gattuso, Maldini, Inzaghi, Shevshenko, Nesta, etc. play while growing up. Plus, of the big Italian clubs, they wore red, one of my favorite colors alongside black. You do the math

When I think of Inter I think of Ronaldo Fenómeno, Javier Zanetti, Killy González, Milito, Mourinho, Cambiasso, Recoba, Vieri, Crespo and Toldo. Also, remember our face-off in the 2003/2004 UEFA Cup? Man I still cant' believe we didn't crush you at Luz. We wasted sooooo many shots in that game.

You know what's funny? James was a good player at Porto, but he never reached an amazing level. I don't think he was exactly brilliant in Monaco.

Suddenly, he's sold to Real Madrid for 80 million just because he scored a few goals in the World Cup. Just for the World Cup...
