He said: "Benfica é o maior clube do mundo!"

Great interview with him. Amazing professional, amazing person and a fantastic player.
He speaks perfect portuguese. It´s amazing how he is fully committed with the club. Hope he stays for many years.

Is there a video of his portuguese language skills?

Wow that impressed me.
The best part it's in the end when the interviewer congratulates him for his portuguese and he says "I'm sorry for it. I will continue to learn and talk even better next year". After speaking incredibly well! ;D

What an amazing lad and a true champion. Girls call him "The Greek God." ;D

He is.  ;D
To see all that commitment that he has with Benfica makes me admire him. As the professional that he is.
And in my opinion he is really beautiful. It's the perfect combination.

(and i'm a girl)

When you bought Samaris, you bought a footballer and a Benfiquista it seems. It is quite rare when that happens. The fact that he learnt Portuguese well tells you that he is serious about Benfica and doing well there. He sees himself as part of Benfica. Congratulations. You got a loyal servant there.  O0

It's probably the red and white jerseys that did it.

If I am being 100% honest I think he is a Benfiquista and not a Gavro.

At Olympiacos he was only ever a sub most games for the short time he was in Piraeus and also he was never an Olympiacos youth product.

He definitely relates far more to Benfica than Olympiacos. He did not even congratulate Olympiacos on winning the double.

Any more news?
Rui Vitória will most certainly be the new coach. He's done very well so far in his career, but I'm not sure he's big team material.

Regarding players, looks like we're very close to signing Zivkovic,a young serbian winger from Partizan and the U20 Serbian national team. Also, there are some rumours that Maxi Pereira agreed to sign a new deal with us.
