Was thinking the same. Greeks are aware that Primera B Nacional and Campeonato Brasileiro Série B players are still miles better than most of what is produced in Greece. That is why so many Greek teams are able to steal goals with quite a bit of style. Put some 6'3 african defenders as CBs. 2nd and 3rd divsion Spanish keepers... good to go..  ;D O0
We also sign a lot of lower league Brazilians. Pepe and Deco were completely unknown in Brazil until they started playing for the Portuguese NT.

Def ^^ The Platanias side is not even that mixed by Greek standards, but still looks like a United Colours of Benetton poster:

Anyways, 3-1 - easy as pie:

Here, even our top sides are full of foreigners. Yesterday Benfica fielded 5 Portuguese players, though. It's been a while since that had happened.

Masuaku

Benfica's next left back(judging by recent events ;D )

Maybe - but no more bargains from Olympiacos. The Italians and Raiola discovered that this summer. Masuaku is expensive. I could even see him going premiership.

:blah:

Silva knows every player at olympiacos and made all the decisions himself it seems.

However one player has confused him deeply - despite seeing him in training. Silva in fact is so confused by this player he has asked Michel and VP both what they think of this player!!

The player is Kasami and he wants to know who should play next to Cambiasso, Bouxalakis or Kasami. Luca M is suspended.

Silva: " the message sent to us from the fans is fantastic! They stand with us and we have a responsibility to give everything on the field ".

Classic Olympiacos mistake, trying an untested lineup in a big game, Silva blinks first.

Could work however, have to wait and see.

Olympiacos (Salino in the midfield)

16 Roberto(GK) (C)
6 Da Costa
14 Elabdellaoui
23 Siovas
26 Masuaku
30 Leandro Salino
10 Domínguez
11 Kasami
91 Cambiasso
90 Pardo
99 Ideye

Red Eyes

All the best for today's match! O0

Fun fact Salino was actually DM until braga played a game against Benfica wich saw their rb sent off and they played him at right back. Dont know the final result.

Yes they reported that in Greece. ^^

Spanish Ref is pro Bayern. Very disappointing. Maybe he thinks by being nice to Guardiola, he will get something back one day?

Silva's honeymoon is over. Fans are not happy with what he did with the team today.

Oly fans understand Bayern is worth €400 million more than Olympiacos but the problem is the brand of football he played compared to someone like Michel.

Silva used a never before tested midfield that didn't work (Kasami, Salino, Cambiasso). We played long high balls from the back 1980s style and could not hold possession. Worse than this he stuck our best player Chori on the left wing where he could not influence the game. He should be played central AM or nothing.

Olympiacos fans don't mind losing, we don't like it obviously, but we can deal with it. What we can't deal with is defensive and regressive tactics at home.

Police had to beat German fans before kick off.. To all Benfiquistas - this is how you earn respect from Germans. You don't hesitate!  :estrelas:
