The fans are unhappy with Bento - boo him now at the end of every game. Marinakis is unhappy with him and had private meetings with him the last few weeks to try and 'change the image of the group' as the Greeks say. Marinakis was visibly upset after the Kerkyra game. But unless Marinakis has a better manager lined up..(and we all remember the  last fiasco) what is the point? And I think Bento will last if he secures the league.

Something Hilarious happened today.

Sparti (Sparta) vs Olympiacos - Cup.

Olympiacos was looking forward to this fixture - as were the Spartans who have climbed the leagues the last few years. However.. Giannakopoulos - the Chairman of Sparti FC (currently owner of PAO Basketball) decided to try Alafouzos's tactics this week. He publicly questioned the referee for the game and such nonsense..It didn't work. Olympiacos just ignored him. The Lakonians (Sparti fans) are very pro-Olympiacos however and many fans returned their season tickets to protest Giannakopoulos' PAO tactics.. So Giannakopoulos quit!..but in a Greek way... he will leave at the end of the season officially.. but has already handed over to another chairman! he is leaving Sparti! Here he is:
