Bento's work, however, is aimed at the future, as I told you earlier in the season when he came to Piraeus. The point is not winning the league, that Olympiacos has been able to do with any coach fairly easily for the past 20 years. The point is to work with youth and prepare the club's future.

That is one thing I miss from Vitor Pereira - Neither Silva or Bento seem to be able to fire up the players in the locker room. The players emerge calm and collected - but no hatred - no passion. Sometimes you need that. We needed that today. We were too polite to PAOK. They were like street players.

We lost for the third time in a row for the first time since the 1995/96 season, back then it was PAO, Apollon Athinon and OFI. First time since 1984/85 (Doxa Drama, AEK and Apollon Kalamaria) that they have lost three in a row without scoring too.

I think Bento is safe because Marinakis does not want to rock the boat.

Don't follow Greek football much, but I don't think it was a wise decision, even though I'm not Bento's biggest fan.
He had a few bad results in a row, but at least they should have let him finish the season. He would have been champion, that's very likely.
