Olympiacos Piraeus

Kind of fascinating to see the different training regimes each coach brings every summer. Olympiacos has documented them all. Could almost blag your way as a coach by just watching these videos. Hasi seems more of a military boot camp type of coach.

Interesting isn't it? Greeks never change. What is more stereo-typically Greek? The consumption of olive oil for the last 4000 years? Frappe? A guy with a cigarette fiddling with some kombolói? Riding a 150cc duck with pandofles (flip flops) and dark Versace shades?

Nope.

The summer signing of an old black guy is the most quintessential Greek thing in the world/

(Marco Silva advised Olympiacos to buy him..)

Domiguez is gone. Was a great player for us.

RodriE my friend, they are well and truly fucked. They will play another season in the Championship. A funny story. Saw a guy measuring my street a few weeks ago. Asked him why he was doing it. Immediately I spotted his Greek accent and said - 'You are Greek!' He was a bit taken back but we got chatting. He said he was from Salonika. So I said, 'PAOK?' He said, 'No - Aris.' I said 'Aris!! Wow, I like your team. What happened man, how come you couldn't get back in the Super League this season?' He said, 'Why? Because we suck re..'  :rir:

Here is a little piece on their broken dreams:

He should do, but it is up to Hasi.

There is nothing sadly in English on Aris, however you can use google translate if you get a second.

Seems he may play a part this season. Right in the centre. Seems a popular character.

Yea, he is like Samaris, but without the mistakes. Very DM. Works hard.

Seems Fortounis and Siopis are becoming more than friends..

Greek international players joined the camp today, you can see Retsos, Vergos and Siopis here, basically we have the cream of the Greek youth:

Fetfatzidis on Jardim and valverde (translated from google):

-Eiches prevent and Jardim, who made great year this year in Monaco. In Greece why do you think he left before completing his work?

"I am not so sure. Perhaps Mr. Jardim was too young and inexperienced at the time Olympiakos. It was a new country for him. A new experience. There was defeat, however, when he left. If I remember correctly the accused were not playing good football. That emphasizes defense more than attack. "

Tell me a little differences Jardim to Valverde? What was individually in personality, style and football analysis?

"I think it was closer to the players Valverde. To win with how he spoke to you, with his personality and his knowledge. We worked more on technique and tactics with the Spaniard. He was interested in good football, while the Jardim emphasized more on the defensive part, did not seem to "burn" for the good football we say. Certainly all judge the results. "

We are sniffing around Carcela.
