The chairman sold your four key players? 

Over the years - we have sold many key players. This season the biggest loss was Retsos. Add to that the other 3 starting CBs are all injured (vukovic, Botia and Cisse) - - the defence was a mess. Also missing our starting CM Tachtidis. Plus poor tactics... plus key players playing badly - Fortounis - plus Sporting being a fairly good side.. It was a disaster.

I was not too confident about this game before kick off as my posts reflected. The portuguese league is also a whole level above the Greek one. Faster pace too.

I remember thinking when I was watching Barbosa control this UEFA Cup game - this guy is naturally talented. Type of player we rarely produce in Greece. He had vision. So to this day I still remember his name from watching that 1 game.
