By the way, I've got to say this year's new kit looks spot on. It kind of reminds me of the 2003/04 home shirt that had the thicker stripes. The difference is that this year's has a red stripe down the middle flanked by two white ones, while the 2003/04 version had a white stripe down the middle flanked by two red ones.

By the way, that team from 20 years ago still had so many legendary names from the club's recent history: Djordjevic, Giovanni, Anatolakis, Karembeu, Stoltidis, Mavrogennidis, Eleftheropoulos, Kafes, and so many others. Really brings back memories.

Was a great kit and a great era. Giovanni was idol.back then..I think this year our squad is exceptional too. I agree about the new kit, love it too and our camo away kit last year was amazing too and we won some big games in it.

BTW, don't know if I told before but I met ele in a airport once flying out with the team for an away game. He was reading all the trash sports newspapers I love like Fos. He seemed very friendly and he signed my passport with Karembeu!

There was a super article on his upbringing and the extreme poverty he was born into. He was a super shot blocker but sometimes lost concentration.
