We needed a win tonight. We failed. While the team competed on a high level in Europe this season and gave us some joy there, our league form this season has been nothing short of a monumental disappointment.

A lot of work to be done this summer. Olympiacos now sit in third equal on points with second placed PAOK and 5 behind AEK who play PAO tonight. The title looks all but lost, and with it the cycle of this team. Already thinking ahead to next season. We must look forward.

Despite continuing his fantastic scoring form, Roman Yaremchuk will still more than likely return to Piraeus in the summer according to sport.fr. Yaremchuk has scored 4 goals in his past 3 games, propelling Lyon back into the fight for UCL places. Lyon's financial position is in dire straits stemming from the collapse of Textor's Eagle Football Group alongside a lawsuit with its sister club, Botafogo, for approximately €125 million. Even with UCL, there does not seem to be much room for purchases.

Luis Milla is back on the menu for Olympiacos! Among other Spanish clubs like Villareal and Betis, Olympiacos has made an offer again for the 31 year old midfielder(@diarioas)

Last summer Luis Milla was at the top of the list for Mendi when it came to midfield reinforcements. Milla currently has 9 assists for Getafe, which is the most among players that have not scored a goal in top 5 leagues.

Olympiacos failed to sign Milla last summer while Getafe's asking price was over €8 million. With a new asking price near €3.5 million, he is within budget and would be a solid veteran addition whether Mendilibar remains or not.
