PAOK

Godescalco

Yes, he was very good. Exceptional midfielder.

Although he played in Greece at the end of his career.

Faliro

He was older when he came and didn't stay long, but his raw ability could not be hidden. I can only imagine how phenomenal this player was when he was younger.

Festivus

Paulo Sousa was a phenomenal player.... and also a scumbag of a traitor.

Don't you remember the Juventus and Dortmund teams that won the CL in 95 and 96?

Sousa was on the starting eleven of both of them.

Faliro

I could never get into italian football having be raised on the Primera...

Marco Silva has quality.

Sa Pinto is in talks on whether OFI can keep him as coach, there is some talk Estoril are after him.

Interestingly the most talented Portuguese player I think i ever saw play in Greece was Paulo Sousa.

The Portuguese was the second best defensive midfielder of the 90's, only behind the Argentine legend Fernando Redondo.

Sá Pinto is awful, if that's true about Estoril, it shows that directors don't understand about football. Even with Marco Silva in these years showing that to them. Showing what's football. And they still haven't learned anything.

Covenant

Sá isn't that bad.

Faliro

Ofi offered him a bit more money on Sunday, wasn't enough sadly, he is on his way back to Portugal with the journalists thinking Estoril is the favorite:

At least I wont have to figure out his hair style anymore..

Fever

Sá Pinto is a Sergio Conceição-like character.

He has some infamous moments here in Portugal.

When he was director at Sporting he punched his star-player, Liedson, and the brazilian had to hide the injuries  :rir:

He also got in a fight as a player, in the national team... with the coach and the staff... in front of the cameras:

Faliro

^^ I feel kind of sad he is leaving Greece now..

Faliro

No need to worry about Marco Silva in Greece now. PAOK missed on on the CL and seem to be trying to save money?  They hired an old Greek as coach Angelos Anastasiadis.

Faliro

They after 3 Porto players on loan:

Kelvin Oliveira, Carlos Eduardo, Leosisio Julio

I just saw that, would be excellent signings for PAOK, especially Carlos Eduardo. And the last one is known as Sami, is a forward.
