Jogar com Varela, é jogar com um GR que tem uma leitura de jogo fraca, que faz com que saia pouco da baliza, hesite nas saidas, obrigando a linha defensiva a jogar uns 15 metros mais atras, porque nao sabe reduzir a profundidade, fazendo com que a equipa fique mais estendida no campo, permitindo que o adversario tenha mais espaço entre linhas. Alem disso, tem varias deficiencias tecnicas e uma postura de baliza horrivel. Ja aqui escrevi que, sendo mediano, toda a linguagem corporal do Varela faz com que pareça ainda pior.

Uma coisa q Svilar tem em desfavor face a Oblak ou a Emerson, é q estes tinham À sua frente um quarteto q se podia chamar de defesa, e isso ajuda muito a crescer. Chamar de defesa o quarteto q está À frente de Svilar ou é sarcasmo ou anedota.

A longo prazo foi uma má escolha. A Bélgica é muito melhor selecção que a super instável sérvia.

O Varela, com as suas limitações agarrou a oportunidade.
A questão é que ao 1º erro crasso, foi retirado da baliza.

Para mim, neste momento, o Varela é melhor GR que o Svilar. É tão simples como isso.

Entre o potencial, e o que é feito dentro das 4 linhas vai uma diferença muito grande.
O Svilar é agressivo nos lances 1 para 1, mas (ainda) é um desastre nas saídas a cruzamentos.

Não estou lá dentro, e como tal, não posso referir as capacidades psicológicas de cada um para lidar com a adversidade, mas o Varela é claramente um jogador mais experiente, e noutra fase da carreira, à partida levaria vantagem.

Não foi ao primeiro erro crasso, foi ao mais grave e que custou uma derrota.

O Svilar começou logo por um desses, quando mamarmos golos em 3 jogos por responsabilidade directa dele, mesmo ganhando, podemos comparar.

My opinion about Jovic is that he is a very talented young player, who was put under more pressure than he could deal with at his young age, such as our club president and the press calling him " new Falcao". I can see that some of your forum members point to his bad attitude. I do not remember that being an issue while he was with us, he only needed a bit more of the killer-instinct and it is true that he sometimes lagged behind in terms of fitness as he looked fat ( he admitted that he had a problem letting go of the sweets). In my mind, he is still childish and incapable of restraining himself and focusing on football. He is not getting much play time at Frankfurt ( not a surprise because he complained to our press: " I wanted to go to Cologne and watch Red Star but the coach would not let me go. I do not understand why"). On the other side, he has been top class for our U21 team in recent matches, scoring goals regularly- and not just any goals, but some great goals. I think you should not let go of him, he will eventually fulfill his potential if given enough playing time.
