Welcome psveindhoven1 :)

This stadium was opened in 25 October 2003. The old stadium was demolished a few years ago and was one of the biggest stadiums in the world with 120,000 seats.

Australiano.

The old stadium looked fantastic. What a cauldron...I was never old enough to go unfortunately  :cry2:

Does this stadium have a chapel or church inside? Do any stadiums in portugal have this?

In the old one there was a chapel for a while. Catholic, of course.

It was built around 94-95, wasn't it? Or am I mistaken?

I think so. During Damásio presidency's.

Any pictures of this chapel or any other stadiums in portugal that have religious chapels inside?

Fever

From what I read the chapel was built because the wife of the president in charge was very religious. It was funded by a rich portuguese businessman, not the club. The supporters never really liked the idea and in typical portuguese fashion it was believed that it was bringing bad luck to the club, so they shut it down.

I don't think there is any other stadium in portuguese with a chapel inside honestly.
