I didn't know him before, but so far he's not doing bad at all. I think his best quality is his ability to steal the ball from his opponents. He's very competent in that aspect. He's not a star, but he keeps it simple, and that's great.

His last game against Arouca was terrible, maybe his worst ever, but tonight he managed to recover from that.

He's had some physical issues here, but nothing serious, I hope.

Extremely average player imo. Hugely injury prone and didnt show anything in Greece. He almost started to put one or two games together, but got injured so that was that. Was a bit surprised you took him to be honest.

Well, surprise surprise... Manchester United with their strong UEFA connections just damaged Olympiakos.

Uefa (a day after the draw ) said that Olympiakos fans had been racist against Anderlecht and so one side of our stadium will be empty for our game against Man U as punnishment.

Now this is very interesting. I dont remember any racism against Anderlect. Olympiakos fans do not attack black players etc... so I was confused.. what racism?

Turns out there was a small banner -2x2 at the game that had a skull and crossbones - this banner is usually there and is a banner of a famous fan club. Uefa said this skull could be seen as an SS Nazi skull and crossbones in some contexts..

Yes, Greece defeated the Italians who tried to invade, so then the nazis came in and the greeks lost and surrendered. 100,000s died in the occupation, over 300,000 died  alone of starvation.. was a very sad time for Greece. The friends of the Nazis were the Croatians, Bulgarians and Italians. The Greeks fought very hard and lost much. In many ways the country never fully recovered.
