Marinakis = Bruno de Carvalho

Jesus T1, you are just like a Vazelos yourself.... always bitching here and there against my club.

Come on, tell me how you really feel about Olympiakos? What do you want? Yes we have a shit owner, he treats us like shit. He wont last long, just like Kokkalis... Olympiacos is a money machine for ever owns it. Marinakis has made millions off us. We all know that. What do you want from us? We travel all over Europe for our club. We are dedicated whether the club is shit or not.

Why do I support this club? I never knew my grandfather. He died 2 months before I was born. His favorite place was Piraeus and he lived there when he was a young after he left his village in the Arcadia prefecture at 10. Sex, music, gangsters.. this has always been Piraeus. It is one of the greatest ports on earth. It is not perfect - not by miles, but it is Olympiakos and the two go hand in hand. We were the poorest club. We were the untouchables. No one wanted to know us in Greece. We came from nothing and dominated Greece, why? Because we were willing to give everything for our club/

Hey man, don't take it too serious. Do you know Bruno de Carvalho?

He is fat, he likes to sit on th bench, he only shave once in a month and he has a hot and beatifull wife, so every time  i see a picture of Marinakis it reminds me of Bruno de Carvalho and Pinto da Costa years ago.

I just coment about things that i read and know, any way, people from any clube would write exactly the same you just wrote abou we are this and that, so i don't understand why are you bring it here.

Faliro, a scandal broke on social media with the Moreirense/AEK André Simões tonight.

He posted on Facebook a series of photos in FC Porto's ultras group in tonight's game and a lot of hate towards Benfica.  :rir: Now we understand why he was out of control against us and got sent out.

The thing is... this die-hard FC Porto supporter... received his 5th yellow in the game before facing Porto, to be suspended... in the 92th minute.
Even funnier... the ref who gave him that yellow... is friends with him on Facebook (an also a FC Porto supporter).  :rir:

We don't know yet if the press is picking up this story we found, probably not...

At least he is going away to Athens. Just warn AEK to never play him against Porto. :rir:

That is insane Lycaon.  What sort of crap was he posting against Benfica?
Do the Moreirense fans want him out now?

http://imgur.com/a/lpDO2

Just about how superior Porto is, how "Benfica is shit" and how the ref who sent him off did it so Benfica could win.

Yep, that's what we were discussing ourselves.
That's the problem with small portuguese clubs - they don't have supporters. At all.
No one cares in these clubs. That's why our football is so vulnerable to things like this - and even worse, match fixing and bribes.

If the press doesn't pick it up, he'll get away with is like nothing happened. It won't even damage his reputation outside of this internet foruns.

This Andre Simoes is a ridiculous man.
Would he be able to get away with it in Greece?

Faliro

If the situation was exactly the same, ie a Greek player doing this in Greece, would not get away with it Festivus. The fans would find out where he lives, where his parents live, if they have a business etc.

Something happened similar with Tzavellas who started a vendetta against Olympiacos and Maniatis while he was playing for PAOK. They found out where his family's business was in Athens and.. problems...

If Andre Simoes signs for AEK for example and starts posting stuff against another big domestic club, he would just be severely booed whenever he touches the ball when playing these teams. They may also try to throw things at him... Nothing on the level of what the Vazelos tried to do to poor VP on the weekend...

People always say that the main reason for 90% of football fans in Portugal supporting one of the big 3 is us being a small country... but then you go to the Netherlands, another small country and every team has supporters. In Greece, it seems like mid-table sides also have sizable amounts of supporters.

They have a few supporters, but they are easily disenchanted.  Iraklis, Aris, Larissa, OFI can all fill a 20k stadium if their fans are happy and the club is healthy. Problem is, that is rarely the case... As the teams weaken, only the hooligans stay. Similar to the economy, the spiral is downwards.

Small clubs here that can fill 20k stadiums... Braga and Guimarães. Belenenses and Boavista back in their heydays.

Leixões has a respectable amount of supporters for a club of its size. As did Salgueiros. Dunno if either could fill a 20k stadium, though...

Lycaon

No way.

And the point is that teams like Moreirense can't fill a 5k stadium by themselves, however their form is. And we have about 8-10 clubs like that in the Primeira Liga. It's ridiculous.

I think most the stadiums in Greece are deserted most the time. Hooligans have taken over as you saw with PAO.

Last 10 years a few clubs have threatened to leave the league it is so bad in Greece. AEK/Panathinaikos stated they could play in Italy if they don't get what they want etc and Iraklis threatened to play in the Republic of Macedonia if their debts were punished and they were demoted!

Lycaon

Yeah but it seems your clubs still have more potential and identity than ours.

The problem with Moreirense, Paços de Ferreira, Penafiel, Arouca etc isn't that they don't have enough fans in the stadium. It's that they don't have fans at all.

I would guess that Iraklis could have bad attendances because of the economic crisis, hooligans, refs, etc but there would still be people that love the club all over the town.

In Portugal small clubs don't have no one to care for them. They are a legal entity that employs some brazilians to play football games and has some mafiosos making shady deals in the background, but there is no one to make those mafiosos accountable.

Not to mention their chairmen usually aren't supporters of said clubs. They're just there for political purposes, so to speak.

Very interesting.

I am hugely impressed by the Portuguese infrastructure but it seems from what you are saying the giants really have taken most the fans.

Aris and Iraklis actually have some real fanatics. I was actually sad to see Aris go down - they have won the league 3 times years and years ago and the club is owned by the fans. I could be wrong but I believe hey have not be beaten in their stadium in Europe in 40 years they make such a strong atmosphere.  Hopefully they can get out the 3rd division, they went down due to debts..

Their stadium is a real Greek one. 21,000, small, tight, aggressive and designed to intimidate. The Super League really misses this team and its super dedicated fans who even turn up for nothing games. Their big fan group is called Super 3.

Long statement by Olympiacos on the game on sunday. Talks about violence and the fact there was not one arrest. Also the burns to Kasami and how Pereira was threatened.

http://www.olympiacos.org/en/node/45927

A poll was taken on Sport24.gr. It asked who is to blame for the current performances of Olympiacos: The coach, the players or the owner.

The owner won the poll as responsible for the poor performances. IE firing Michel, terrible transfers etc...

Who won the fight between Marinakis and Alafouzos?  ;D

Faliro

#2024
Well Alafouzes is a lawyer who has roughly 30 lawsuits out against other people and about 20 against him.. :2funny:

They just get lost in the system. I believe he started another 2 lawsuits today, probably against Marinakis.  That is all he does. The owner of Panaxaiki is also a lawyer - his name is Kougias. He also has law suits out against PAO, Olympiacos etc.. Various libel cases.. Just a joke really.

However, this season to answer your question Marinakis fucked us. Alafouzes is too tight to fire any coaches or release players, so after a while, the team get to know each other and gel well to an extent.

The big case against marinakis seems to have failed. It was proved he did visit the ref's locker room during the cup final, but according to him,  just to tell them 'good luck.'  :2funny: :2funny:
