Financially it is preferable to be in the last 16, and with some luck, in the last 8.

But it would be nice for a Greek team to win some european silverware and the EL is the only realistic shot at it.

I say the same each year. I am a gambler in certain aspects of my life, but the chances of Olympiacos winning a CL are so remote, my mind can only see logic in putting everything into the Europa Cup. Many Greeks want a last 16 or CL semi. For me, I believe we should concentrate on the Europa Cup and getting to a final - one that hopefully doesn't include Sevilla..

Leonardo Jardim, Vitor Pereira, Marco Silva... someone at your club is quite knowledgeable of portuguese football. Very solid choices year after year, impressive.

Marco Silva was the favorite among Benfica fans to replace Jesus, as you probably already know. During his green nightmare, showed not only football-related qualities but character as well. I'm sure he'll do great and red fits him better.
