I believe it. Typical of Olympiacos. We are missing that quality forward or winger. Ideye was never the answer, Anderlecht were better.

Going out against Anderlecht ruins the Olympiakos season for me. I just can't take the streaks and titles seriously when Marco Silva can't even make it past Anderlecht. Third placed team in Belgium... when you have the league all wrapped up, it's pretty much inexcusable. I told you Marco Silva was way overhyped for some reason that I still can't figure out.

To me, I just feel like Olympiakos need to look into having younger players, maybe sacrifice a bit in therms of experience and 'assured results' now, but develop a better team for the next two, three years... what's the point of beating up on Greek teams if you can't use that platform to then be better in Europe? It must be very monotonous to watch the same thing every year.Good luck the rest of the year.

The level of competition is too poor in Greece to make young players matter. Our team is essentially a young team. Chori and Cambiasso have hardly featured this season.

Faliro, do you think that this elimination from Europa League will make Olympiakos president changing the coach at the end of season? I saw many comments of fans very disapointed with the result

Well Marco made some mistakes tonight. Taking off Cambiasso was not wise, the minute he went off for the teenager, the team fell apart, this was a big mistake.

But hindsight is always a beautiful thing.

For me, our team is not near the quality of Anderlecht. However there maybe a few very stupid Olympiacos fans who may now start to question Marco..

In our club, we build them up and throw them away.. Greek culture.

It was too bad.

Roberto blew it but you always risk that by having him on goal. Terrible keeper. It was a shame to be knocked out again so early in the EL but clearly this Olympiacos' squad is a galaxy away in terms of quality from the ones that had Rivaldo, Giovanni, Alexandris, Giannakopoulos, Georgatos and Karembeu or even more recently with Galletti, Belluschi, Kovacevic and Torisidis, just to name a few.

I never thought in Greece, in front of their amazing fans, Olympiacos couldn't get around.

Well, I think that what is lacking essentially to Olympiacos is a generations mix with similar identity to the club. As all the top teams in Europe do. Like Barça, Bayern, Atlético, Juventus, Chelsea, Dortmund, Benfica, Zenit, Liverpool... any of them.

This EL round was largely decided by Roberto and the poor effectiveness of Olympiacos attack.
